Bottom Live - Bloopers

Matt Damon Freakout

rottenseed says...

I agree with westy. You may be upset with somebody for not doing a simple read, but the more visibly angry you get, the more flustered you make who you are trying to work with. Not saying Adrian is a good actor, just saying that upsetting him his making him worse.

oh yeah and that would piss me off too, blaming the fact that matt damon has worked hard to be successful is why matt is getting impatient with adrian forgetting the website name and over acting.

I think that its too reasonable to be contrived, sure there is still a possibility, but yeah. If you watch entourage, you know that Adrian Grenier is more of a pretty face than a good actor. and yeah, he was overselling it to the point of looking disingenuous, and his arm gestures were annoying to even watch.

In my opinion, with art, i think its alright to be a bit of a fascist. not in the sense that you should be able to freak out at people for 5 minutes or be cruel or threatening, but i think if you have a vision or know exactly what you want, there shouldn’t be any compromises just because you've already tried the line 5 times.

maybe im bias since i like matt damon, the informer was great.....

Sagemind says...

Bruce Dickinson, Dave Marray, Adrian Smith, Nicko McBrian & Steve Harris!

Although there have been many changes and substitutions in their line up over the years, These guys are truly what made Iron Maiden who they are today.

Oh, and don't forget Eddie, conceived and painted by Derek Riggs,

The fact that the top 3 all broke the world record says A LOT about the new Speedo suits.

I hope that was tongue-in-cheek. Speedo has been making "sharkskin" and "aquablade" suits for years with the same goal of less water resistance and better muscle compression. If you watch more of the races you will see plenty of events where the athletes only wear jammers (knee length) or legs. If the new suit material offered a distinct advantage, you'd see body suits in every event.

It all comes down to what will make the athlete "feel" fastest in the water. (This is the same reason why swimmers shave. Removing the layer of dead skin cells makes you feel much faster through the water, and is as important as removing the resistance causing hairs.) Claiming that these suits somehow enabled such great swims is akin to attributing Adrian Peterson's NFL single-game rushing record last season to the plastic pads and helmet he wears that athletes 50 years ago didn't have access to.

After all, those suits aren't the ones in the water for 6 hours a day for the past 4 years.

Bomb the Bass ft. Paul Conboy - So Special

Eklek says...

Ah Bomb the Bass is back in collaboration with other artists:)
This track/video bit long but features some interesting melodies and moods I think. It refers to the video for The Prodigy, Smack my bitch up.

Future Chaos: Bomb The Bass in the 21st Century

Quietly in November 2006, news was posted by Simenon on the Bomb The Bass Myspace page that a new album had been recorded, and was about to be mixed. Much later, in January 2008, and again without fanfare through their Myspace page, it was announced that the Future Chaos album would indeed see the light of day - in May of the same year. Performed, for the best part, with Simenon working on a vintage Minimoog synth, the album, which consists of fourteen tracks is said to be more electronic than previous efforts, with the strong use of the Minimoog lending a cohesive feel across the set.

As with all previous Bomb The Bass albums, Future Chaos is a collaborative outing. This time, Simenon has teamed up with former Screaming Trees and Queens Of The Stone Age singer, Mark Lanegan, the Krautrock-loving and decidedly un-Japanese Fujiya & Miyagi, and Richard Thair and Jakeone of Toob. Most notable, however, is the appearance of Paul Conboy, who is best known for his partnership with Adrian Corker in A.P.E. and Corker Conboy. Conboy sings on six tracks, has co-written a great deal of the music, and also co-produces alongside Simenon, making this the most collaborative Bomb The Bass album to date. Adam Sky has also become involved with the project, by way of contributing remix duties to a track called Butterfingers.

With Bomb The Bass now up and running as a viable band, rather than production orientated studio entity, live concert dates are being finalised to coincide with the May release of Future Chaos. Again, Paul Conboy will feature, adding keyboards and vocals to the live set-up. Low key warm-up shows were undertaken in February 2008 in Holland - due, no doubt, to Simenon currently residing in Amsterdam. In keeping with the multi-media ethos of the band, video artists will be on hand to scratch video and animation projections over the stage.

Sciendepence Day (Science Talk Post)

gorgonheap says...

Qruel: I'm amazed that everything has to have a conspiracy behind it. Quite frankly I think it blinds you so much that you fail to look at evidence that contradicts your claims. And honestly, the copy-paste that you do from googled articles gets old. Have an original thought about your conspiracy laden agenda that's what I'd like to hear. You can use Joe Scientist to support a claim but pasting what he said is lazy and shows lack of thought on your part.

Rembar: I can see where this would start to bug you but the repeated and pointed attacks are becoming a bit tiresome. Yes there isn't much science to it, but it's the best category qruel can find till someone makes a 'conspiracys' or 'health' channel.

Gorgonheap: You don't need to get involved in this squabble. Why don't you just take a jump of the longest pier with some concrete shoes.

Rocky: Adrian isn't that good looking but eventually she'll leave you. after she leaves you she'll settle down with Jack Nicholas in a remote winter lodge where her husband will write a book titled "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy". It will never be published.

EIA and WTF (Eia Talk Post)

bleedingsnowman says...

I'll admit I put WTF on the Adrian Mumsy video (which definitely deserves it) but the EIA was added by someone else and, I like I said, on some I can understand the rationalization.

I think there sound be a step between not having the WTF tag and having it. Like "weird" or "strange."

Comments from his former common-law partner, and from other Poles:

Dubon's analysis, while rambling and alcohol-blurred, was in many ways consistent with that of one of Poland's best-known psychiatrists.

Stanislaw Telesniski, who specializes in courtroom testimony in nearby Krakow, told CanWest News Service that Dziekanski was obviously weakened by fatigue, hunger, fear, nicotine deprivation, and panic over an inability to speak any English.

"All those things make the self-defence system weaker," said Telesniski, who analyzed the video for TVN-24, Poland's largest private television network.

"And you're starting to be more intuitive, like an animal. And after a while you feel you are surrounded by animals, because your rational way of thinking has been stopped because of stress.

"In that state of mind there is a disintegration of your personality, and you start to be aggressive and irrational, behaving in a way no one around you can understand.

"And aggression is one of the ways of communicating to people and showing the sign that something's wrong with you."

He said the four RCMP officers made a fundamental mistake when they approached him aggressively and sent jolts of electricity through his adrenalin-charged body.

"They should have been trained to deal with this situation, and the first rule is to become his friend as fast as possible, and not increase his stress more and more. Make him calm."

Most Poles interviewed in a shopping mall in the nearby city of Katowice, in the heart of Poland's once powerful coal-mining industry about 70 kilometres north of the Czech Republic, agreed that the police were brutally quick.

Several also said the incident has affected their previous view of Canada as a peaceful country.

"You expect something like that in America, but not in Canada," said Adrian Wawrzynczak, 31, a clothing store manager.

BTW, the "once powerful" part is lame writing - it rather still is, especially considering world energy prices.
