Anatomy of a Scene -- A Quiet Place
The face part opened up, but the "ears" pop open and uncover whenever they're trying to listen closely.
I any case, armored just means they have some resistance to small arms fire, like the bugs in Starship Troopers or xenomorphs in the Aliens universe. Unless the monsters in this movie are covered in adamantium, I find it hard to believe that they can wipe out the world's militaries in such a short time.
Also, they would have to defeat the world's armies first, as securing the food supply would be one of the top priorities of any army. No military is going to sit around waiting to slowly starve to death.
More spoilers:
I think the movie tried to show that they only opened up and became vulnerable when they heard the feedback sound from the hearing aid.
The movie didn't really go on about how they defeated armies, but really they only have to kill the farmers, everyone will eventually starve if they can't grow food.

Crushing Adamantium with Hydraulic Press
Totally fake. What he was calling a hardened steel tool was clearly an aluminum billet. Adamantium could totally cut that!

*lies, please? I see this, and all I notice are the complete lack of reality-grounding measures.
Let's not make the planet stupider for someone's bullshit movie universe.

"Adamantium is a fictional metal alloy appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics."
LOGAN Official International Red Band Trailer #1
so this is between 3 and days of future past? or older than days but in the current universe without the sentinel uprising?
I was hoping they would jump right on to the end of wolverine 2 since we left him with an adamantium bullet in his head. I kind of doubt jeans touch in apocalypse cured him of that.
LOGAN Official International Red Band Trailer #1
In canon, Logan's healing factor is actually impeded by the Adamantium. Magneto pulls it out of him at one point and we discover the claws are bone, and his healing factor is virtually instantaneous. Later, Apocolypse chooses him as a Horseman and re-applies the Adamantium, which also degrades his healing factor.
Appropriate music choice given what it looks like.
If anyone was wondering like me why he has scars, it was apparently explained that because they wanted to make a different tone of movie, they had to imagine what it would be like if his healing ability changes as Wolverine himself ages, leaving him with scars/memories of past battles. I don't know how old he's supposed to be, but they did show him in Prof X's younger days (~60 years?) looking exactly the same as he did in the 2000's - so i'm not sure if it adds up, but i can excuse that for a different styled, good film.
After watching this video I'm 100% sure that I'm tough.
Yeah but what did they put in him, adamantium?
Wolverine, the most useless X-Man
It came in pretty useful when Magneto ripped all the adamantium out of his skeleton back in the early 90s.
*comics
Which is still basically useless against Magneto.
MAN AT ARMS - Making Wolverine's Claws (X-Men)
Bend? Dunno what you're talking about. They're pure adamantium.
Awesome lookin, wonder how easy they bend.
Leaving the car like a boss through your windshield
pretty sure adamantium is forged from melted down russians.
The Floor is Lava
>> ^Payback:
FAKE! Lava can be upwards of 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Looks like a normal floor to me.
I agree, if that was lava, his clothes would've caught fire when he came within ten feet of it. Not to mention, who would ever build a house with lava floors? How could you live in it? And what kind of boat could you possibly have that would shuttle you from room to room? An adamantium boat? I don't think so. There's not even that much adamantium on the planet.

Revoke BP's Corporate Charter
But corporations ARE merchants and merchants ARE the ruling class. Who protects us from the merchant monarchy? That's my question. How many times will you avoid my question? I believe this is the 5th time I've asked, for the record.
Example: Zorloc is sick of the powerful Mars Mining Co abusing the Shnnarr'Ghol people and forcing them to choose between abusive labor in the Adamantium mines or starvation. So, after stumbling across an ancient alien artifact which is worth krillions of space credits, he buys the Mars Mining Co and pays the workers a fair wage, until the old Mars Mining Co opens up a new business, the Jupiter Mining Co. Zorloc cannot compete with Jupiter's wage slave labor and is forced to return his mine to old, abusive conditions. At first he feels bad, but eventually, after several protests from his former workmates, he grows to loathe them and feels entitled to what he refers to as 'the sweat of his brow'.
