the craziest thing I have seen anyone do for a job ever

So does anyone know if there was any chance that he could have missed the landing? Also these people are way underpaid. I thought all this stuff was cgi these days.

Here are some of the biggest fall fails in the A screen cinema...there are more.

Steel (1979)

A.J. Bakunas died doubling for George Kennedy in a fall from the Kincaid Towers in Lexington, Kentucky, for the movie "Steel". Bakunas had successfully performed a fall from the ninth floor of the construction site, but when he learned that Dar Robinson had broken his record high fall for a non-movie related publicity stunt, Bakunas returned to perform the fall from the top of the 300-foot (91 m) construction site. Bakunas performed the fall expertly, but the airbag split and Bakunas was killed.

Love Serenade (1996)

During the filming of a scene on a grain silo, stuntman Collin Dragsbaek (doubling actor George Shetsov) died when he fell onto a faulty airbag.

World Wrestling Federation event

Professional wrestler Owen Hart died in May 1999's WWE/WWF PPV Over the Edge 1999 after he was scheduled to glide down from the rafters for a ring entrance. This stunt was botched and Owen fell 78 ft (24 m) to the ring below.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm proud to have been a fan during the Golden Age of the WWF. It will never get any better than 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Randy 'Macho Man' Savage, The Iron Sheik, George the Animal Steele, Jimmy 'Mouth of the South' Hart, Mean Gene Oakerland and others.

They were defo legends, a little past my time, so maybe you'll accuse me of being too young, but......

Two words:

The Rock.

Nothing in the genre i have ever seen has come close to this man's ability to entertain me - and that's just through talking alone! I've never heard a crowd so mesmerised, so enchanted by a wrestler. He OWNS the crowd! THEY ARE CHANTING THE ROCK'S NAME!

this is actually my most vivid memory of WWF ever, but its not this part of the clip, a little earlier in the clip the camera is on the blond dude and you think wow, this guys pretty big and strong, then the camera starts panning to the side and you see his heads up to some huge-ass guys chest and you think holy sweet jeebus thats a monster.

Is this the best, or the worst game ever?

Jesse Ventura in Heated Stand-Off with Comic

Trancecoach says...

Norton is clearly the asshole here.

He's accomplished very little noteworthy things in his life, but talks & acts as if he has. Not that Ventura is a fucking hero, but the guy was a Navy Seal, a celebrity (albeit WWF), & a fucking governor. Least he deserves a bit of recognition, but Norton didn't even give it lip-service.

I think Ventura showed tremendous restraint and, for that, he gets my respect, if nothing else.

You chose the wrong kid to pick on...

I don't know about fake, that would be pretty difficult for a bunch of kids to fake and it doesn't look viral. Plus I did a similar number on a bully in Jr High once, though it was the back of his head on a chalkboard not face first in a desk (and there was no handy chair nearby), so things like this DO happen.

His head was based on his own arm + the bashing made a rattling sound, not a concussing thud. Very WWF like.

Yes thanks for the news bites. I don't follow the WWF very closely but I've seen some of their work and this is certainly not something they would use to get a point across. Not sure what diseased mind thought this would be a good idea but I would hope *somebody* got fired this time. Unlike at the actual event. (do correct me if I'm wrong on that point, but that was the last I had heard.)

edit : Someone should probably tell Jigga to change the name of this vid if it really wasn't approved by the main branch of the WWF.
