that deserves a VMA award

I loved that at the time this video was 'Video of the year' at the MTV VMA's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1989_MTV_Video_Music_Awards)

A response to the article mentions this insight:
"He has some kind of odd skin deformation - his skin sample was clinically tested at VMA (Military Medical Center) in Belgrade and was found to have two skin layers less than a normal person. I also saw the video demonstration linked in your article, and I have to say that it is more sensational than truthful - the current is NOT coming "straight through his body" but through the electric wires straight from the electrical outlet, clearly visible on the video. His body is just a good insulator which mechanically holds conductors (forks) and nothing more than that. The reason for this misunderstanding is certainly the ignorance of Ohm's law and the relation between electrical current and voltage. Everybody can do the same thing if he has rubber gloves - or Biba's skin, which is the same.

There are also claims that he can direct electrical current through his body as he wishes, generate electrical current, switch on and off a nearby electrical appliance by his mind, and so on, but there is no evidence for those claims. "

Oh so true. Except, I don't watch pop videos because they all look like horny nymphos. That and the music is so formulaic and the lyrics consists of "put your hands in the air" and "We are so and so and we're awesome". Then again, I wasn't even aware they still did the VMA's.

This band was beyond better than anything else at the VMA's and was the first time I heard them. I enjoyed the song a great deal.

Course the VMAs and the vast majority of US 'music' is absolute garbage anymore as it is.

Thanks for the promote! If it stayed out of the front page too much longer, the title wouldn't have made sense out of context of Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMA's...

Haha, my girlfriend and I were both nerding out playing Scribblenauts on our DSs last night. Fun game, btw, if you happen to have a DS. I've never seen Lost, but I don't really watch tv much at all, and the few shows I do like and have on my computer I still only watch once in a while haha. Farah is pretty great, for a little bobcat-like curious kitten. She spends as much time running wild around the apartment looking for things to use as toys as she does anything else. Hopefully that'll settle down after a month or so more when she's more used to things. She does this cute little chirpy type meow a lot of the time, I guess it might be a girl cat thing? My previous cat also did that, never heard a male do it though.

Pretty good, thank u! We are both nerding out right now (DFT on the xbox, myself on the internet) and we JUST got all caught up on Lost. Neither of us had ever gotten into it until over the summer while we were on vacation. Funny, I didn't think we'd both get so into it! Fun times. How are you? How is Farah? Give her a scratch behind the ears for me.

Meme this thing may end up being, not many will have President Obama's stern disagreement in them.

Also, I think this is the first time I've gotten a vid into the top 15!
