A coworker told me to go to Mystery Spot. So I did. I was completely unimpressed. Not a single illusion was actually impressive.

I'm with you on this. Tilted rooms and such simply look and feel tilted. I don't perceive any sort of cool illusion from them.

If they could make the room not feel tilted while being tilted, that would be something, but being in room that really is tilted simply doesn't do that for me.

I love tilt shifts! And Wellington looks gorgeous!

Fact 2: 100 billion galaxies:
We know there are that many, because we've seen them. The hubble space telescope was pointed at a tiny , random black spot in the sky (where no stars from our own galaxy was blocking the field of view) and found 10000 galaxies in that tiny spot about 1/12millionth of the sky. Extrapolating that out, we get that there are atleast 100 billion galaxies, and each of them contains hundreds of millions of stars.

Fact 3:The moon has its own gravity.

Fact 4: 8 Planets in our solar system.
This is of course very well documented. You can see several of them on any given night. One of them , Venus will infact pass directly in front of the sun in a few days, on the 6th of June! Well, aside from you only one person mentioned god. But because you obviously really want a windmill to tilt at, I'll bite.

"god" is a man made concept and religion is that concept in action.

It's a bit like asking why so many people confuse business and the economy. They're not the same thing but one cannot exist without the other.

Romney has had a long personal relationship with Netanyahu, while Obama can't stand the guy. Under Romney, the Israeli's would be more likely to attack Iran, drawing us in.
