Obama Has a Reptilian Implanted in the Back of his Head

kceaton1 jokingly says...

And we just KNOW that the Egyptologist or Archaeologist or Xenomorphologist or Doodleologist or whatever that guy was, before the ultra-high-resolution video that showed the delicate and precise surgery scars leftover by a alien species unable to do a better job than current medical gee-whiz doctors that have terrible golf scores (people have actually "liked" the notion of NOT having huge scars from surgeries that can be seen from a mile away), oh yeah so...the Professor with the magic markers was showing us the alien head and well that got me thinking.

I've never seen a Professor, Museum Director, Archaeologist, a Doctor with credentials behind their name, or even the poor graduate student that got suckered into doing the presentation and has barely any information to share with the audience... Not one has ever done this routine except for the one time when they were screwing around and knew a Hollywood producer for the SyFy channel was watching and so they quickly had a biology professor get up there and draw an amazing multi-layered magic marker tapestry that was followed by an explanation that made many of SG-1's storylines sound like crap. Needless to say you will see this on the SyFy channel in the future some time, but it won't be a Stargate cable-movie, they'll rename it to, "The Pharaoh's Last Apocalypse", or something like that.

Anyway, the bottom-line. Idiot gets video from idiot number one. Idiot number two doesn't know what "parting lines" are and instead realizes that her previously video from a chain e-mail (the e-mail was nice enough to point out how great the U.S. was, how religion is being slowly destroyed and taken out of our daily lives, etc...) perfectly shows that Obama, using the ultra high-definition video allows you to clearly see that he has been tampered with. Moreover, it is--or must be for some reason--the same thing from Magic marker man (who I feel LOVES coloring books...).

So guess what folks a lizard is in the President of the United States, an augmented alien one that is controlling his mind; not to be confused with our lizard like baser instincts that control our minds to a lesser extent--I'm assuming here... I'm not sure what he'll do (Obama), but we all know lizards are only evil, so are aliens--look at all of our movies if you need proof, fools. If I seem non-concerned that might be because I already watched both of the "V's" Television mini-series and TV show and we always win (and sometimes they fall in love with us or us with them, we're God's chosen, we'll always win, duh).

So I don't see any reason to get all antsy and grabbing shotguns and getting angry at black people!

Warning:Spoiler:This was a work in sarcasm and subterfuge, hopefully you atleast smiled at some parts, maybe some of you laughed. If none of the previous have occurred for anyone this post should be burned, stripped, cast into lepers, tared and feathered, castigate the post, castigate it with something in mind first, and Abilify™.

Yes, this is the Stargate Studio reel edited with new music.
Stargate Studios are my homeboys, I live a few blocks from their offices. Check out their site for more behind the scenes shots.

could have sworn this was a dupe, but it actually just has a lot of the same scenes from this sift: http://videosift.com/video/Green-Screen-What-you-see-is-an-illusion

It's fascinating stuff, and its obvious they've got themselves a good string of work there from the studios. Their pure VFX work is less impressive than the 'virtual backlot' stuff though, it has to be said... which I guess demonstrates that it's a lot harder to convincingly add in fire, destruction, moving elements. Adding in, effectively, digital matt paintings (that move and change perspective, but still), is a lot easier job.

But they do good work... good work.

I would imagine they work on tiny budgets and ridiculous timeframes with those shows.

How much would you pay for the universe?

ForgedReality says...

Considering the universe is a whole lotta nothin, I'd probably pay a whole lotta nothin. Everything we've seen and explored is a depressing, barren wasteland of nothingness. How about we go find a suitable planet to live on and wipe out all the dinosaurs on it so we can make a new home and build stargates between the two worlds so we can send nukes back and forth and wage war trying to control sections of that new world and destroy it just like we have this one?

I mean come on, people! Let's push up!

The only reason I know about this weapon is because of Golden eye for nintendo 64.
well thats what started it all.

First I remember seeing it was on Stargate SG-1. Came out about the same time as Goldeneye.

What If: God was aliens and not supernatural? (Religion Talk Post)

peggedbea says...

hehehe my high school boyfriend had schizophrenia. that beautiful beautiful brilliant twisted little boy believed .. in kind of a stargate scenario. like aliens just dropped us off here and all the religious artifacts left behind were just reminents of them. he painted amazing pictures of it. and spent hours and hours and hours and hours obsessively pouring over the bible and relating almost to accounts of alien sightings. there was some show he used to watch at 3am on a religious channel with some fat scholarly man going over bizarre shit from like the book of enoch and jubilees and things that never made it into the bible. he was obsessed with the giza plateau and "fallen angels". it made for a very interesting few years. and when we finally broke up i was fairly convinced of all kinds of alternative theories of ancient egypt. .

D.C. Universe Online - Gotham City fly-through.

some nice enviroment moalling there especially given what looks like some prity tight texture and polygon budgets.

I feel sorry for the artists that work on games like this. Its pretty much a given that the end product as a whole will be a pile of shit. ( even a company like blizzard churns out core game play in its MMO's that when compared to single player games is a buggy shit feast. (and even then they are doing a huge achievement keeping things even mildly working and ballenced).

I bet that the actual game play in this DC universe game bares absaluty nothing to the verbs that would be found within the comics this is about as analgouse to being immersed in the world as playing a DC Card game.

In fact I would prefer a card game over some shitty MMO as a card game allows the players mind to fill in the blanks where as a MMO like this will likely be crammed full of utterly shit grind game play ,generic combat shoe horned together to work with latency issues ,pore animation and terrible story deliverd in the most artificial and detrimental way possible for commic book style narrative.

Im sure enoughf people will buy this purely because of the visual context that it will justify them to keep doing this sort of shit.

On the other hand if in the 1 in a million chance it works and works well then that would be really cool. I would rather have a decent MMO around a differnt IP though ( Stargate ,StarWars, StarTreck, ) Ips that actual benefit and probably could only ever realy work properly from MMO game play.

Green lantern movie trailer

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)

Maybe you saw Contact when you were 14, but there's nothing juvenile about the movie. It's full of big ideas and based on Sagan's best arguments for the existence of extra-terrestrial life. It's Science Fiction at it's best - inspiring, though-provoking, and able to move people to do more real science.

>> ^Tymbrwulf:

@dag I haven't seen Knowing(Nic Cage? srsly?) or Moon, but I'll agree wholeheartedly about Dark City. Contact was cool if you're 14, but to each his own.
I'd also add:
The Thirteenth Floor
Gattaca
They both ask questions about our reality/values and reflect on them in some interesting ways.
As for this movie? Looks like your average popcorn flick hero movie that Hollywood's been trying to cash in on since Superman 2.
Also, if you liked Contact, you might enjoy Stargate

I specifacaly said it would probably take 15 or so years before a Decent MMO RPG could be made

Sorry, I did miss your first post. No point discussing then, you're just stating your dislike of where MMO's are at presently. Fair enough

I only find it frustraiting because its something on the face of it i would realy enjoy to play ,

Id rather the devs focused on making a far smaller game that was much more solid than these large and mostly bland and buggy games.

some devs have used instancing quite well to greatly improve the lag issue , but evan then all those egames have been pritty terrable when you compare the mechanics to non mmo games with simular game play.

an example of how shit its got with MMOs is if u look at stuff like the new star wars one and star treck evan that stargate one that i think they shit canned , they are all ignoring core game play and presenting themselfs as simulatoins of the universes we have seen in films and tv , but in realty thay have nothing to do with the universe they are simulating other than realy pore graphics and assets with the same names.
