Is Glass a Liquid?
Glass is a fluid and a liquid (liquids are a subset of fluids). All window glasses will, given enough time, flow. The rate dependent deformation of the glass is described by its viscoelastic properties. Many stained glasses and all lead based glasses behave more viscously than elastically when compared to their modern counterparts, and thus appear to flow more, when the reality is that they just flow faster.
And lava is in fact a type of soap.

The comments on the Jalopnik article are completely full of these:

Monsters beware
I do this exact thing with the Scottish pronunciation of "Shite". I can use it around most people without them realizing, or if they do realize they don't say a thing just because it doesnt sound like "shit".
Americans are stupid. My mother would wash my mouth out with soap when I was a child if I said something "Sucks".
It's funny how language works really. 'Ass' is not a nice word? In my UK experience we tend towards 'ass' being the PG version of 'arse'

Monsanto man claims it's safe to drink, refuses a glass.
Okay, the interviewer isn't offering him a glass of water, he's offering him a glass of glyphosate. Lets be honest here, No one would drink that. (Glyphosate is the actual Roundup poison)
The concentration level in a solid glass of that stuff, would send anyone to Poison Control. As would most of the chemicals they use in our food.
I won't defend them, I hate Monsanto, but be realistic here. I also wouldn't recommend anyone to drink a full glass of Vinegar, Dish soap, Hot Sauce, Vanilla, or many other Safe to eat things from the kitchen.

Last time I got close to a woman in a burqah I almost hurled from the smell. We need to export less weapons and more soap.

The "Throw Like a Girl" Myth | MythBusters
I agree with pretty much everything else you've said. The problem is that any kind of mens "liberation" movement has been hijacked by the idiotic "mens rights" groups. It's not that there isn't some inequality against men that needs to be addressed (specifically around things like child custody), but more often these groups have confused not getting their way 100% of the time with being oppressed.
Regarding assault (sexual or otherwise), I think the overwhelming point there is that we should view from a gender blind perspective. It's feels ridiculous to even have to say this, but assault is bad, mmm'kay? The gender of those involved is irrelevant.
But there are some fairly deeply ingrained societal attitudes that will have to change. Picture the following scenarios:
Bob says something misogynistic to Alice. She slaps him.
Dave the evil kidnapper is finally caught and sent to jail. Someone makes a remark about not dropping the soap.
Both of those are stock standard fictional comedy tropes. The first is that when a man gets hit by a woman, he deserves it. The second is that male prison rape is implicitly funny, because the guy in prison deserves it. Can you imagine the outcry if a writer reversed those roles?
Men have needed their own "liberation" movement, too -- to be free from the need to hide their "weakness."
