Jon Stewart -Live- Northeastern University- "Fuck You" Palin

Actually, It looks to me Osama wanted to attack symbols of America's wealth and foreign policies, not Americans or any American's values. If he wanted to just kill Americans, he would have targeted stadiums and schools. If he wanted to destroy symbols of America, he would have targeted the statue of Liberty, or the Smithsonian, or Library of Congress. Instead, he went after the money, and the military, and almost the President.

Don't get me wrong, an attack on a part is an attack on the whole, but to say New York is somehow more indicative of "Traditional American Values" than Little Town America because it was attacked by terrorists is kinda silly.

So you know what you have to do American?......Create a sustainable micro-economy, centered around a small community of like-minded individuals, to sustain your quality of life, for you and yours. The future is nothing anyone can predict with any certainty, based on the current linear models rapidly deteriorating, the symbology of the current paradigm, or some fantasy of a, slow, forward progression of societies, prior to this last 100 years. The near future will break all the rules of predictability, the changes will come faster and faster-

Am continually in conversation with folks, who are bound by their aversion to change, in denial that the world they are half-assed "slowing" their children how to navigate, will look anything like the one they remember-THEY HAVE NO CLUE.....Simply look, at the predictable nature of humans, as they flounder during some contrived duress, or in an emergency situation, or when they lose their goddamn credit card fer crissakes.....

Rest assured, the assholes that give us in the US, an opportunity to cast our vote for, they know what the near future may bring, and they are preparing for it. Amidst the wonderful new advancements, there is also conversely, a breaking down of old models, and with that will come chaos. Most of us are no where near being prepared for it, but you can place double or nothing odds on the reality, that some of the more wily monkeys do....and they are preparing for their survival, to keep their empire alive....

free energy would be a great start, for the collective veil to be lifted from the eyes of the masses......to bad they won't let us have it, the sorry cocksuckers that run the show-

Unidentified Sea Serpent Type Creature

My google-fu suggests that it may be from a phylum of marine worms Nemertean worm, which has puzzled people before. While 7 to 10 feet is long, Nemertean worms "range in length from 1 mm to as much as 30 metres (100 feet) in the case of the bootlace worm, Lineus longissimus. Some texts quote lengths of up to 60 m, in which case, L. longissimus would be the longest animal alive (female blue whales reach about 34 m)".

To be honest, this sounds like a bit of a media overhype, especially from what appears to be the original news article (which I just found), that says, "Friends of Jay who work at the Smithsonian say it may be some sort of Nemertean Worm, but they're puzzled by some of its characteristics. For now they're simply calling it "undescribed"." Compare this with the news article quoted in Neatorama, which looks to have ripped everything from the original except for that small yet very crucial bit of information.

Also, I'm not going to mess with your tags, but might you consider changing the cryptozoology tag? Cryptozoology specifically refers to the search for organisms rumored or believed to exist, but that have not been conclusively shown to have exist. This video is of a creature that has not been identified yet but whose existence is not currently in question, and whose existence had not been hypothesized previously, so it seems to fall well into the realm of marine biology, not cryptozoology.
