Netflix Series "Dark" Trailer
I didn't pick up any German words.
There's plenty to keep track of in this series: many characters and their interactions, many plots and subplots, many jumps between years, etc. YouTube is full of supplemental videos for details possibly missed by viewers.
Netflix Series "Dark" Trailer
One of my colleagues really got into this series, he said it was really good. He even started to pick up a few words of German from watching it.
1000 Year Heatwave Becoming The Norm
"Climate scientists are increasingly concerned that global heating will trigger tipping points in Earth’s natural systems, which will lead to widespread and possibly irrevocable disaster, unless action is taken urgently.
The impacts are likely to be much closer than most people realise, a a draft report from the world’s leading climate scientists suggests, and will fundamentally reshape life in the coming decades even if greenhouse gas emissions are brought under some control.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is preparing a landmark report to be published in stages this summer and next year. Most of the report will not be published in time for consideration by policymakers at Cop26, the UN climate talks taking place in November in Glasgow.
A draft of the IPCC report apparently from early this year was leaked to Agence France-Presse, which reported on its findings on Thursday. The draft warns of a series of thresholds beyond which recovery from climate breakdown may become impossible. It warns: “Life on Earth can recover from a drastic climate shift by evolving into new species and creating new ecosystems … humans cannot.”"
Rick and Morty S5:E1
I couldn't get into the series in the past like its first episode. Would I like it now?
Space Battleship Yamato Firing Wave Motion Gun
One of the few good parts of the movie. Just watch the 2199 reboot series instead.
Caulking Tally Ho
I got hooked on this series about 6 months ago and binge watched it from the beginning. It's a great introduction to ship building, and one hell of a project.
It's not exactly right to call it a restoration, there's hardly any of the original wood left in it. I think in the end there's going to be the transom and lead keel left, everything else being replaced including the dozens of huge iron, now polished brass, castings and thousands of custom copper rivets.

LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS VOLUME 2
2022 is gonna be the second best year EVER!
- New Zootopia TV series (and it damned well better be GOOD or there WILL be blood!)

- International travel should be open again; hello, Argentina, Tuscany and Lyon!
- I'm serious about the blood.
Cop Rock - Baby Merchant
After seeing this floating around recently I decided to watch the series through with a mate. It's absolutely, wonderfully awful.
It's tone is absolutely all over the place where it's actually surprisingly hard hitting and progressive in the themes in some places and then suddently absolute nonsense musical in others. I highly recommend if you enjoy terrible things.

ENZED UIM 2016 Jetsprint WORLDS ACTION
Slalom: a timed race (as on skis or in an automobile or kayak) over a winding or zigzag course past a series of flags or markers broadly : movement over a zigzag route.
Closed loop zigzag?
So, at 3:40---what precisely is the course? It's not an oval, it's not a figure 8--what is it?
These Ponds Help Support Half The People On Earth
This "Pindrop" thing is new on his part, right? This feels like the first in a series, and I'm already pretty sold on it.

Mandolorian Season 2 Trailer
The Outland TIE fighter was first depicted in the mobile app Star Wars: Card Trader as part of the set Illustrated Outlaws released on October 4, 2019.[4] It appears in the final two episodes of the first season of The Mandalorian, a 2019 Disney+ television series.[2][3]
The ship was originally designed by Industrial Light & Magic concept artist Doug Chiang for the 2015 film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens,[9] though it went unused in the film itself. Later, during the development of The Mandalorian, series creator Jon Favreau and his team saw Chiang's concept and decided to incorporate it into their project. To bring the vehicle to life, a physical prop of the ship was built on the show's set, whereas the TIE's folded wings were realized through computer-generated imagery.[10]

OK, since there's a bunch of experts on this thread, when did the Tie fighters first show that they had folding "wings" (solar array panels) as @ the 1:13 mark. I ain't no Star Wars expert, but this is the first time I've seen this. Help?
Make America Great Again
I've been listening to this show for awhile and they recently did a good two part series on how otherwise nice normal seeming people became Nazis.
