I only want to know one thing. Can I hurl it at a tree, a la Rutger Hauer in Ladyhawke?

I remember from a making of Bladerunner, that Rutger Hauer (roy) wrote these lines on his own and presented them to Ridley Scott just to see what he thought. Ridley immediately was touched by the poetry he used it instead of the standard scripted lines.

A great scene from a seriously atmospheric movie. This was quite nicely done, but really, it's Rutger Hauer's words (he wrote most of this speech apparently), and his delivery that make this part brilliant.
