While I see your point, It's a youth orchestra, as a kid I would have been so happy to get to play something I knew and grew up with at the end of a long classical concert.

No thanks.

Orchestras are fantastic because they can play music much richer than pop/rock/dance/etc.

I don't like the dumbing down of orchestras.

so because williams uses an orchestra with a triumphant trumpet here or there it's ripping-off anyone else who has composed something using similar instrumentation? Shows a complete lack of understanding about music and how chord progressions are built...

I find if i think like that all the time i tend not to enjoy it. It seemed a bit staged (the quickness at which the orchestra was set up and going) but discarded that thought quickly and just enjoyed it... opposed to looking for all the things that would verify my thoughts of it being staged/fake. Anyway that's how my mind works when it comes to videos like this. I'm looking for maximum enjoyment as opposed to catchin' fakes which just tear the joy from my brain. That's never fun. Also just me.

am I the only one who thought it was all completely staged? if I heard an orchestra play in my street at night I sure as hell would go check it out. But there is no one coming to see what all the noise is.
