You want to defend yourself from bad government with an AR-15? How did that work out for the people in Waco? An AR-15 isn't going to defend you from the government. A Michigan militia isn't going to cut it either. For dealing with Robbers/Mice - A normal cat, is much better suited in that case. An AR isn't going to provide you any more protection, in fact it will likely provide less. There are 2 schools of thought for home protection - A big bang to scare/kill a robber or accurate and a little less deadly. I'd go for less deadly as then I don't have to worry so much about rounds flying through walls and hitting other people. A 12 gauge with bird shot should be perfect for that, loud as hell, but wont blast through the drywall and hit a kid. Plus it will get a nice spread, so I'm likely to hit whoever was dumb enough to come into my house. An AR-15 will go right though the walls - of my house and maybe the one next door.
So I don't need a bad cat to defend myself. A good cat does it well enough and it isn't worth having the bad cats on the streets keeping me up all night.

for judaism this is in large part to the talmud,which is a living document,where even to this day rabbis debate and argue the finer details.not to be confused with holy scripture the torah.

christianity was forced to acknowledge its failings and flaws,because the theology was weak,and was becoming more and more an amalgamation of other religious beliefs,but most of all,and i think most importantly,the in-fighting with the vatican and the church of england had exposed this weakness,and christianity was on the brink of collapse due to its own hubris and arrogance.

they had no central authority.no leadership that the people could come to in order to clarify scripture.

so thanks to the bravery of martin luther,who risked being labeled a heretic,challenged the political power,which in those days was religious,and so began the process of reformation.

and also ended the dark ages,and western civilization stepped into the "age of enlightenment".

islam has had no such reformation,though is in desperate need of one.they had no council of nicea to decide what was holy canon and what was not,which is why you have more gospels of jesus in the quran than you do in the actual bible.

the king james bible has over 38,000 mis-translations in the old testament alone,whereas the quran has....well...we don't know,because nobody challenges the veracity of the quran.

lets ignore the fact that trump gutted the very agency that would have been the first to challenge his executive order "banning" these refugees.trump literally gutted all the high ranking officials at the state dept.

so it came down to a judge to hold trump accountable,which he did by injunction and an entire dept ignored that federal judges ruling.

Never did a stint as a commercial driver, but passed all the courses and went through down to the Michigan Decision Driving training grounds and did runs in trucks with jacknife scenarios, etc.

He's not drifting there. His trailer brakes are locked up. And because of inertia and ice his trailer is trying to pass his cab.

The goal is to maintain control but keep as low a speed as possible, so you give power to the cab to pull the trailer back into line in a normal situation. In this case he doesn't want to accelerate because there's no safe ground to regain control on, so he's going to aim for keeping the cab going at equal to or just slightly faster than the trailer.

As soon as he hits a clear patch of pavement or level ground then a little bit of acceleration from the cab pulls the trailer back in line behind the cab, drop the acceleration as the drag from the trailer slows you down, etc.

A good reason to always wait before pulling back in after passing a truck on the highway. In an emergency their maneuvers can take long distances when fully loaded. If something goes wrong during your passing maneuver your want to be as far out of their way as possible.
