Joe Rogan Clarifies His Vaccine Comments

newtboy says...

From the Mayo Clinic- https://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/ivermectin-oral-route/side-effects/drg-20064397
Tons of side effects including coma and death. I guess more encephalopathy doesn’t scare an encephalitic waterbrain.

When taken above the therapeutic dose (like most of those fighting Covid did), increased concentrations of ivermectin may overwhelm the ability of the P- glycoprotein pumps to keep it out of the CNS by saturating the pump. This can lead to neurotoxic effects such as ataxia, tremors, myoclonus, seizures, encephalopathy, and coma.

IVM pre-treatment demonstrates detrimental effects in cardiac ischemia through exacerbation of cardiac arrhythmia, myocardial dysfunction, and increased cardiac hypertrophy.

Ivermectin hurt thousands, killed some, and helped absolutely no one with covid, a virus that ivermectin doesn’t kill or treat. The FDA has determined that currently available clinical trial data do not demonstrate that ivermectin is effective against COVID 19 in humans or animals…it’s an anti parasitic, not anti viral. Duh.

“People have been using it as an anti viral for years” only shows that people are ignorant morons. Mercury-laced “cures” for melancholy, constipation, influenza, and parasites are still being used all over the world. Remember thalidomide? It’s still being used.

But you keep listening to the infallible Mensa member Joe Rogan, he knows more than thousands of practicing virologists and hospital doctors who dealt with the ivermectin idiots, more than the FDA, CDC, and WHO combined.

You just can’t pass up a chance to prove your gullibility and ignorance.

What We Know about Pot in 2017

MilkmanDan says...

I had never heard it claimed that cigars pose less/different cancer risks than cigarettes.

Google search provides mixed (as you might expect) results.

Cancer.gov, the Mayo Clinic, and WebMD all seem to suggest that cigar smokers in general tend to have lower rates of lung cancer than cigarette smokers (because they generally don't inhale, which I didn't know), but higher than non-smokers. And they have comparable or possibly higher rates of other cancers (oral, esophageal ... pancreatic) as compared to cigarette smokers.

Several results suggest that there is less data about cigars, results aren't statistically significant, etc. etc. and that they believe that cigars are much safer than cigarettes, if not entirely safe. But frankly, the pages I see (in a cursory search that I don't really have a personal stake in) promoting that view don't seem as ... trustworthy to me as the Mayo Clinic, or Healthcare Triage videos like this one (that list references right in the video).

No holier-than-thou attitude intended. ...Although I can say that I'm personally very glad I never acquired a taste for tobacco products of any kind. And a very low interest in alcohol consumption -- I go months on up to a year+ between drinks of booze without ever missing it. I sometimes avoid social situations because of smoke, which I suppose is a downside. But on the other hand, I'm enough of an introvert that avoiding social situations is probably something I'd be doing anyway... So at the very least I have more money to waste on other things since I'm not a smoker or much of a drinker.

If Meat Eaters Acted Like Vegans

transmorpher says...

I've got some bad news for you dude, you've been eating vegan food all of your life. All of that stuff on your plate that isn't beef, poultry, fish or dairy is vegan. DUH DUH DUUUUUUUH!

Tofu is also highly dependent on what flavors it's absorbing, it doesn't have any flavor itself. I rarely eat myself, mostly using it as a substitute for mayo (+bit of mustard and tabasco makes a pretty convincing substitute)

I know what you mean though some of the older vegan processed food is awful and card board like.

Give these a go one day https://gardein.com/recipes/seven-grain-tenders-with-chipotle-mayo/
(it's not like real chicken patties have much chicken in them anyway...)

EDIT: BTW there is a perfectly good way to eat animals and be vegan. Road kill.... or if you're in the field at the right time to see an old buffalo collapse.... or if a shark has bitten a fish in 1/2 and you take the other 1/2. Technically all vegan since no animals were exploited by humans. There is always breast milk too assuming you've asked for the mothers consent. (don't do it mad max style).

I'm not vegan because vegan food is fucking awful. I'm prepared to live with some animal murder if it means I can avoid tofu.

French Fry Rap

Those are really more like French Baked Potatoes. Fries are fried.

Mayo and mustard, mixed, on fries?!? BOOOOO.
If catsup or ketchup aren't your thing, try sour cream. Once you go creamy, potatoes are dreamy.

I had a response from the content creator and he sent me this link stating that he did use mayo. So I wonder what else was in it that did not make the cut.

Some people do what they talk about and some people just talk about it, this guy did something note worthy in his life. I cringe at some of the replies in this thread.

When all information regarding this topic needs to be filtered through "peer reviewed scientific studies" invariably funded by mega corporations who have nothing to gain from discovering whole plant based cures, your opinions will be more than a little biased.

Here's a few accounts:

"Ten months ago girlfriend was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. Immediately switch to all organics/non GMOS and started taking the oil. Half way into the treatment test results showed the lesion had shrunk half its size and was now precancerous. Last week new tests showed she is not only CANCER FREE but PREGNANT which they said may never happen. Rick Simpson I really owe you, brother. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.” Jason
“I have a good friend Scott with cerebral palsy. About 6yrs ago he was in and out of hospital, they just throw in meds at him. Finally his mom said there's got to be another way. After he went from 200 pounds to 110 we thought we were gonna lose him until he started consuming cannabis. After six months he was back to normal and put all the weight back on and takes half the meds. He has outlived 3 times over what doctors said and they say he's just lucky. I have other thought.” Shane
“This is my brother who the dr said he had 2 months with inoperable liver cancer. That was a year ago. His tumor has shrunk to 1/4 size. His tumor markers went from 5667 to 94. He is living proof. He still runs his own business. Both Northwestern in Chicago and Mayo clinic in Rochester Minnesota gave him that diagnosis. He consumes the oil.” Holley
“Thank God we found Rick’s site when we did..... I started the oil 4 months ago and the spot where my tumor was removed is closed up!!! They told my GBM stage 4. And I would die in a year and half. Been 15 months and feel better than ever.... We really want to tell the world!!!!! Saved my life for sure.” Rachel

-- Tell everyone you can that there is a safe and effective cure/control for cancer, and that it can be used as a prevention against cancer, too. The sooner you start spreading the word in your community the sooner people will overcome their hesitations and will demand this medicine. Be ready for a lot of resistance in the beginning. If you let them read posts and comments on this page, I think it will take less time to convince them. Thank you for your help in spreading the word about this medicine. JB

The REAL Reason You're Circumcised

SveNitoR says...

I agree we should not let "it isn't natural" be a counter argument, that is after all the same argument anti-vaxxers use.

"No harm" is where I doubt the report you link (though I guess you do not actually mean NO harm). I see a lot of cited reviews in the Mayo report on the negatives of not being circumcised and very few on the negatives of being circumcised which leads me to suspect bias, or that less research has been done there. There are also pretty big flaws in some of the reviews I had access to (for example one of the randomised studies on sexual dysfunction that is cited by a review are entirely based on self-report [and some results were puzzling and not explained] and only over a few years - this still proves nothing when it is done to infants though I doubt it has large effects on sexuality if any). Unfortunately I can't access most articles due to being at home.

Of course my scepticism could very well be a cultural prejudice to it being "wrong" and me searching for minor flaws in their argument.

Whether he had one or not is irrelevant. The studies that were done on those who actually did have them later in life showed that it usually had either no effect on sex or actually improved it unless complications developed from the procedure (see the American Academy of Pediatrics 2012 Technical Report on Circumcision).

The benefits of newborn circumcisions are well-documented at this point (see for example the Mayo clinic's most recent report on the topic.) We know it also can reduce the risk of HIV infection in at risk populations.

Basically, if it does no harm and can actually have benefits, it's a valid medical procedure regardless of whether parents are choosing to do it for religious reasons or not.

Of course, should future research actually prove the risks outweigh the benefits then it should be stopped. We need to base these decisions on the medical evidence and not on our cultural prejudices.

Were you circumcised later in life so you are able to compare sex before and after? If not, then no, you can't say that.

Iraq War Veteran Explains Decision to End His Life

Anyone who has ever spoken with any veteran who has needed to avail themselves of the VA's care tells their own frustrating tales-The serious and particular nature of this guy's injuries physical, mental, spiritual...If this guy had access to Mayo, Bethesda, or John's Hopkins levels of care and expertise he may now have a different outlook perhaps....Funny??-How all the fuckers who invent the wars go straight to one of the hospitals mentioned above to get polyps removed from their asses found during a routine check-up and the soldiers get the V.A.'s network of Ghetto General Hospitals to choose from??

Bill Burr Doesn't Like How He Has To Order His Sandwich

Chaucer says...

Jimmie Johns will. If you order a #2 with no vegs, they will say we can give you a #<whatever> and you can put the mayo on and it'll save you a buck. I generally tell them I'll be more than happy to pay a buck to have them do it with their mayo spreading experience.
