*promote because this was my only reference 6 years ago for a Justice League movie and all we got this year is this Martha! Martha! endless shenanigans.

Saw the movie yesterday - it was just all over the place.

The biggest problem I had with it was that a major portion of the "plot" relied on the fact that Batman and Superman both [spoiler] had moms with the first name Martha [/spoiler].

I always find it bewildering that the majority of republicans don't even have that much money but they tow the party line; while the staunch uber-wealthy hate taxes as if they hate US democracy.

The thing is, the uber-wealthy are the ones that have made 1000%+ wealth gains for decades while wages have remained stagnant for the rest. They are the ones that own businesses and have perpetuated this warfare. If they paid *a little more tax* they wouldn't even feel it. But, for the working class a two dollar raise is fucking huge. The system we have needs more regulation, more services, more taxes in order to create checks & balances and to be put on track for more equal standards of middle-class living (you know the class the upper class has all but wiped out with their disgusting satan-esque greed with a Martha Stewart twist) for a vaster amount of the populace.

There's plenty of crass humor outside of the states. Personally, I'm inspired to higher levels of crassness by British comics.

Doesn't comedy always seek to undermine convention? CNN shows that it's not really an accepted American convention, except perhaps to the entertainments sluts such as myself, but I enjoy a wide array of convention. And I'm the only person in my social circle that truly enjoys this humor, more Americans that I know do not.

But regardless of whether we agree, a roast is intended to be shocking. Comedy is not a self censoring media because it must remain within the realm of knowing thyself. Knowing thyself, one understands the grotesque nature of the human mind in relation to the soft edges we falsify for our neighbor.

worked for bell tech support. they have caps already in place on bad credit account holders and new account holders. and when the Telus guys said it has a cap in place already(for roaming) all the other telecom people started back peddling, which wasn't shown. anyone remember when they put martha stewart away for lying. why has that law Never been used since?


out of context was that the cap was for ROAMING CHARGES, which has a delay, sometimes substantial, to when the actual charge is put on the account. but again, all the rates are available online and easy to calculate .
some countries have HUGE charges, so always check! some places is as bad as $10/1mb.

big warning, Pay as you go is not supported on travel, infact pay as you go is barely supported locally and needs some serious loving to trully become a viable option,

contracts are no good, used only as a bribe for the phone, which can be financed now in some 3rd party retailers, but in the eyes of bell canada, not in a contract? barely worth the contact. which means if you arent on a contract, the call centres will have very limited tools to assist you. and will charge up to $25 for reading info to you that you can find in forums and google.

i quit bell not too long ago because of how poorly they treat employees who do well and how blatantly the lies they told us to tell customers where. ugh, hate big telecoms.

2). Lois Lane (and Jonathan & Martha Kent)
3). Kryptonite - Proven Absolutely
4). Red Sun or Starless worlds would void his powers but first you have to make him go there.
5). Magic - Can slow him down, but can't kill him
6). Virus X - Kryptonian leprosy, the only form of disease for which Kryptonians had not found a cure (Turns out Blue Kryptonite is the cure)
7). Mind Control - He has no powers against mind control but he is a strong minded individual and has battled this and won before.
8 ). Extreme amounts of force/impact ("Darkseid and a few others have this power").
9). No air/Food/water - Superman could survive indefinitely without food, water, or rest due to the yellow sun's radiation sustaining him.

Shazam - Almost killed Superman with his lightning bolts which are magic
Lex Luthor used a magical artifact called the Powerstone to take his powers away.
Wonder Woman's magic sword can cut him.
Hulk kicked his ass once too but wasn't able to follow through.

Looks like his next major weakness after Kryptonite is Magic. Not all magic though. Only some magic granted by Gods, and then only some gods has the power to affect him. Magic has been able to lay him out but has never stopped him.
