Streaming MST3K 24/7
It's an interesting situation, but we've had web-cam streams sifted before. So I think this is alright. As long as we agree that this does not pre-dupe anyone trying to sift individual mst3k stuff, I think we should go ahead and * return it.
I don't think we'll have many sifts like this one, so I propose a live and let live approach to it.
Streaming MST3K 24/7
I love MST3K but I don't like the idea of voting on a live stream of their stuff as opposed to actually voting on a specific sifted video.
Everyone is seeing and voting on a different part of the stream or just for the stream itself.
Sorry Throbbin.

if it winds up back in the queue I will definitely promote it.
Cannibal Girls (Re-Mastered Trailer) - 1973
Awesome.
"This has the bacony stink of Canada all over it." - Mike Nelson, MST3K
The Worst Movie Ever! Manos: The Hands of Fate
burdturgler casts sift whoring and deals 10 damage.
Unskippable: Bayonetta
Ok, I'm stopping at 2:30, because MST3K by any other name is not the same.
Saturday morning cartoons taught you collectivism! (Politics Talk Post)
Same as Dystopian, I loved D&D at the time, but found the cartoon to be weak. I never really got into any Saturday morning stuff. Robotech was like a drug to me.
My favorite fictional shows over time have been:
The 80's Twiligh Zones (first two seasons)
Max Headroom
The Indiana Jones Chronicles - The teen years with the WWI stuff, not the little kid episodes.
(Indiana Jones was actually a real eye opener with an episode that had a character talking about how war equates to profits. Another episode going on about the philosophy of how the average person would never murder anyone, but put them in an army and they'll do it out of a sense of duty)
MST3K
ST: TNG
Red Dwarf
Babylon 5
BSG
24
For the most part I believe those shows where attempts to make good television for the sake of good television. I notice 24 has the occasional right or left wing issue thrown in, but it's rather passive.
A hilarious take on Matrix Reloaded (Rifftrax)

A way to watch Twilight and actually enjoy it. [RiffTrax]
"Everything's gonna be alright... rock-a-bye!" I LOVE late 90's pop-music references!
Shit I THOUGHT this was the MST3K guys! http://www.rifftrax.com/

Hey, it's MST3K reinvented! Yay!
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist - Original Trailer
I agree with Payback, this "movie" was horrible.
I watched it expecting something similar to what comes from the Zucker brothers- highly disappointing to say the least.
Would not even rank close to the MST3K series voice-overs.
Laserblast!
WHAT ABOUT the lump on my chest?! Saw this little gem on MST3K.
How To Seduce Women Through Hypnosis
Well at least the annoying voice-over was funny. Unlike MST3K.
Where to now, VideoSift? (Sift Talk Post)
Another idea towards mst3k is that youtube allowed group user comments. We could get like five people to watch a 10 min video and add in their comments and make a featured Sifters3k type funny comments to popular videos.
Where to now, VideoSift? (Sift Talk Post)
As has been mentioned numerous times already, a game room would be nice.
Throbbin's MST3K idea might be good if it could be implemented properly.
I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but maybe have members do video reviews of the currently popular videos. Maybe put them in the Comments sections under a new tab called "Video comments." But I suppose right now there's already nothing preventing a member from posting his or her own video comment in the Comments sections of videos. YouTube does something similar already.
Where to now, VideoSift? (Sift Talk Post)
I like the idea of a videosift fundraiser.
Thanks for the F5 thing ^ - I had no idea you could refresh a page like that.
An MST3K feature would be cool - in that you stream a movie once a week, and have live running commentary in a text box below. That's would be da bomb!
