D’oh! When I was in Korea my family hired a moving company, and I got to witness this fine art in person. These guys are no joke. They are seriously skilled in their craft. And YES, they have redefined packing and moving into mater craft.

But for all the work they do and hours of training they've put in, they aren't paid nearly as enough as they should. It's like watching a City bus driver weaving the big bulky bus through jammed traffic and tight corners with finesse and precision, yet at the end of the day it's just another day at work for him.

Also keep in mind that in Asia there is no tipping culture, so they don't make any more money than their fixed pay. In Korean society it is in our tradition to serve the movers with a meal and a few beverages, but that's as far as getting anything extra from their job.

I have huge respects for what these guys do in Asia and I hope they get all the attention and the recognition they deserve.

They dumbed it down to much. Originally, the procedural generation wasn't flat for creatures. In the final version, to be user friendly, they made it so that no mater how many legs or their configuration, you ran at about the same rate as any other creature. So there was no inherent weakness or strengths to the design of your creature, only the static parts you put on made a difference. The same kind of changes where made in all the modes, these changes are what I think made Will Wright leave the gaming industry. Such high hopes and dreams dressed down to sell games, and not to mention one of the most draconian DRM's of its time. (first game I had to call Customer server just to install my game)

The reason is this , in general most african countries are pore so the only the ritchest fsamilies in africa will get to send kids to USA and given the distance and cost they have to make the most of it or they will get boloxed by there family they will also be aware of how fucked they might be if they don't get a high degree.

the same thing happens with indean and Chinese students or allot of students that are studying in another nation to there own , if you are going to another country to specifcsly study something chances are you have a specifc motivation and will be sumone that will work harder at the given subject.

another factor is that forghen students in a given nation are often older and have held jobs and so have more maturity and drive than your average native student thats just progressed through the schooling system . In uk you find allot of Scandinavian students that come into degrees have more knowlage and practical skills than some of the lecturers and are simply doing the degree for the paper at the end that says they have a degree/masters.

We are at a time where you can easily pick up a 1970s standerd of knowlage from the internet alone its all there years of lectures and free acces to reeding materals , grante din the 70s you could get allot from books but the internet offers a streem line way to learn and comunication with people that can help guide you where as pre 80s you would realy have to be told what books to get or buy acess to the knowlage and tutorship.
