Little Big Planet - Little Big Computer
^spoco2:
Spoco, I'm not so sure - my best comparison for this title is Garry's Mod for Half-Life 2, and look at what's been done with that. The community is still pretty strong after a lot of work has been done.
There's just something about playing with rudimentary physics-based gameplay in complementary, multiplayer ways, I guess.

Little Big Planet - Little Big Computer
Look, this is pretty cool, and shows, well, a lot of free time and a mathematical/science brain. Good on them for doing it, and good on the game engine for being able to be used in this way.
BUT
Is anyone else completely and UTTERLY sick of Little Big Planet news? I mean GAWD it's been going on and on and on.
I truly think that people will have these initial flurries of excitement with it, and go and make a bunch of things and be all amazed, and then a couple of months down the track everyone will be bored silly with it apart from a few obsessives who will continue to create insane things for years to come.
The majority of people though will give a great big 'meh' after a short period of 'oooh'
It's a controller, it's a coffee table, it's both!

Looks a little big to play with it easily, but still really cool.

Lindsey Buckingham: Big Love (acoustic)
Missed this one. Love this song and have seen several different performances of it. Last one I saw was when he did that special with Little Big Town. His voice couldn't quite hit the higher notes, but it was still good.
Lionel Trains and Space Missle Sets (males will enjoy this)
As long as the train goes slow the balloons should stick to the center of the wind tunnel. Fans at stores used to have beach balls balanced in the airflow to show them working and you could gently toss them in and get them to stick. I never thought of using them as a target. That is brilliant. Upvote for toy projectiles!
The man in the cherry picker seemed to be a little big for the capsule.
Intellivision II: "atari compatible" commercial
Good memories of going to Mark Wiltfongs to play Intellivision. He had a little ?Big Track? as well, it was like a toy truck that you programmed on a keypad right on its back.

I agree MySpace should definitely be added.
Last time we checked, Revver was QT, but it looks like they are Flash now. The player is a little big, but we could probably shrink it down.
Amazing Pool Tricks
Def not snooker table
The pockets do look a little big.
Nice english on that ball though. Can we say "Pool Hustler"?
