An In-Depth Analysis of The Shining - Part One
Kubrick was a perfectionist. If it's in the film at all, it's probably because Stanley intended it to be there.

Rock on! Well done Kubrick!
INCREDIBLE video of space shuttle ascent
Art reflecting life imitating art. Stanley Kubrick would be proud.

"the last 20 minutes of 2001 stretched out into a whole movie". I don't think I could take that. I loved that movie so much, but the last 20 minutes was too much Kubrick on acid and not enough Arthur C. Clarke.

Anyone Seen "Moon" (Scifi Talk Post)
this movie rocks. Kubrick-esque but with pacing that won't put you into a coma
two thumbs up, five stars
go see it
Anyone Seen "Moon" (Scifi Talk Post)
My gf have tried to see it for several weeks now and haven't been able to get the cosmic powers to allow us. One of these days. It looks awesome. Very Kubrick-esque in parts.

My avatar is a young Kubrick. I was just having a bit of fun with you, is all.

Oh.. hehe. I was just kind of being sarcastic and saying you could just google his name to find out about him. I like that site because it's made for things like that, allowing you to post a reply to someone who asks something that is easy to answer by just googling. >_>

Oh, and about evaluating avatars - I think they can be both positive and negative. I mean, every time I see Stanley Kubrick I think "smart, thinker, perfectionist" etc, which obviously is a COMPLETE misdirection.
Who the fuck is Stanley Kubrick?

I don't get it. I just see links on a google page. Is that what this Stanley Kubrick thing is? Is it code for links? I'm so confused.

In the same way, an avatar can heighten the meaning of a comment, like with body language, same with the background color and user name color.
So when Gwiz had Dr. Zoidberg as his avatar I was mildly amused by his zaniness, then he switched to Seth Rogan and I kinda felt sorry for him; now I think he's a cold bastard with a huge wang.
