Lost was a sprawling, unique and fairly awesome show that also had some serious flaws.
House is rigidly formulaic, but transcends that with its well above average performances and writing, and because it allows for more character development than your standard procedural. Both are great shows.

Sorry, but you can't compare a medical drama that follows the same formula for each show to a action adventure/mystery drama that was basically one of a kind. I agree that lost had some pretty silly or off-on-a-tangent moments, but it is probably one of the better shows to ever exist. Until the finale, of course.

Indeed. The writing is usually good and Hugh Laurie is fantastic. With Lost, the plot was absolutely stupid, and it was obvious that the writers were improvising as they went along.

13 gets probed and there will be a grizzled old frontier junkie doctor named House, played by Hugh Laurie of course, I would be so there. Also I know I've been playing too much Fallout 3: New Vegas because the first thing I thought when I saw the bracelet was "Hey it's a Pipboy."
