As I recall the study that said circumcision reduces HIV was horribly flawed - the group that was circumcised was told to abstain from sex during healing and if not then to use a condom and taught in their use, while the uncircumcised group were just left to their own sexy devices.

I have tried to ignore this user, to no avail. We agreed together to no longer 'private message' each other on our profile page long ago, an agreement Ching was wholly unable to fulfill, as he constantly posts outrageous, insulting, vulgarity filled private messages to my profile (and in public in response to most of my comments, which he seems pathologically incapable of not insulting or degrading with outrageous vulgarity and vitriol). Sometimes he realizes he has gone way too far and tries to edit away the vulgar insults before they're immortalized, which is at least in part what hobbling is about right? Ching is unable to not personally insult, personally attack, or to be reasonable or respectful for more than one short post at a time (followed by at least a day of ranting insults, attacks, and vulgarity).
I often do comment about Ching's behavior/posts, but not his person. I don't know him, I only know his actions here.
I've also been a sifter since near the onset of the site, and I've never been banned! I just didn't sign up for a membership for years while I 'lurked'. I don't see how that makes a difference, this is about behavior. Ching's behavior is far beyond site guidelines....until now I've let that slide with only my words to him in response. Because he is now ramping it up again, any further "private" message, or trolling my comments will have me begin a push for actual action against Ching. He's just getting out of control and his vitriol is building. He alone is making the sift a far less pleasant place for many.

Since the Republicans invented the Individual Mandate, tried twice under Bush Sr and once under Clinton to force what would eventually become Obamacare into National Law, I don't know why they are against it. They should be glad their plan passed and not any of the two plans Democrats actually wanted. It was funded the same way Obamacare is. The only real changes is that insurance companies can't deny or charge more for pre-existing conditions, and it went from catastrophic care to comprehensive care, so we treat people before they need major services. Otherwise basically the same thing. It was those plans that Romneycare was based on.

What the Democrats have long wanted, and what the American people deserve is the Single Payer that works so well for every other civilized nation in the world. What Obama promised was a Government Option which is a compromise between the massive for profit insurance that we have now, and a Single Payer. Then massive amounts of Republican's following what they were being sold by Fox News and the Koch brother's massive Tea Party movement, convinced the Repbulican base to ignore what their so called Christ said, to help the needy and poor and heal the sick, to "let them die!" And a massive opposition grew. So the Democrats fearing they couldn't go to the point of actually helping the millions of Americans working for companies that refuse to offer affordable health care and not paying a living wage for the benefit of the executives and shareholders, went with the Republican designed Individual Mandate.

What the Republicans should be doing is celebrating the fact that the Democrats couldn't (or more like wouldn't) pass either of the two plans they wanted, and in the end passed and adapted the Republican plan. They should be proud that Obamacare is basically Romneycare at the National level and be bashing Democrats for blocking it back when they tried to pass it under Bush Sr and Clinton. The Republicans should be saying, "we told you so a long time ago this was the way to go, and because of Democrats blocking it, we didn't get it until we forced Obama and the Democrats to give in and accept our plan. You American's could have had this over 20 years ago, but the Democrats refused. This is a victory for Americans and the Republican party that they finally relented and let our plan pass." It is true that MMA is not the be-all end-all of martial arts,and in fact "two persons of equivalent weight competing willingly on neutral ground" is quite far removed from "actual trouble" (key words: "two", "willingly").

1) There have been 'no-hold-barred' fights / underground duels recorded since at least the 1920s, some of them very violent and bone-splitting (famously: Kimura Vs Gracie), and 'soft' aikido-style systems never won anything.

2) More importantly, systema does claim a number of things, including being a martial art in the military sense, and being the product of an elite military force, to which it was reserved (i.e. it was secret). It also claims to have semi-mystical roots dating from the middle ages, and bonker stuff like 'paralyzing soft punch' and 'healing punch' (this is claimed by its actual founder - you can look it up). Of course none of those claims have been substantiated.

So systema is either:
- An elite martial art with Fist-Of-The-North-Star like powers, yet no one heard of it before or beside (not pre-USSR historians, not recognized Russian martial artists, and not actual Russian elite military officers), and was/is super-secret, yet can be somehow taught to anyone.

Or:
- Stuff made up by two guys out of the army.
