Ha, lantern is one of the 63%. Good job "use'n the internets", but I think you're missing a hot episode of fox&friends. Better get back to your idiot box.>> ^lantern53:
Hussein used poison gas on Kurds.
Does that count as a WMD?
What percentage of Democrats think Obama gives a crap when he's quaffing Dom Perignon with George Clooney?

Christopher Plummer Won't work with Terrence Malick Again
Man, George Clooney isn't used to not being the centre of attention, is he? You could just imagine him at a dinner party...
Fight! Fight! Fight! - salesman's insane self-motivation

This guy is like a cross between George Clooney and Steve Carell. Anyone else see it?
I was getting the unintentional Steve Carell vibe as well. Not so much the Clooney.

What am I Reading? (Scifi Talk Post)
Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag. (show it anyway)
I will put child garden on my Kindle list.

i liked anathem... but i also liked cryptonomicon, and the baroque cycle.
can't wait to read his new book.
nothing has been as good as the diamond age though.
whatever happened to the tv series they were making out of it?
wasn't george clooney producing it or something?
can i please recommend the child garden by geoff ryman?
i'd love to know what other people think of it.
i reckon it's wildly underrated sci-fi.. actually sci-fi doesn't cover it.
"speculative fiction" maybe.
one of my favourite books ever -- along with contact by carl sagan.
i just finished reading brave new world.
can't believe i'd never read it before.
now i'm dividing my (extremely limited) reading time between:
his dark materials
a song of ice and fire
and, somewhat ironically, a book called "getting things done"

TYT: Warren Buffett Socialist - Fox News' Cavuto Schooled
>> ^Trancecoach:
I like Jon Stewart's response on The Daily Show to Fox's allegations that Warren Buffet is a socialist. He said, yeah, that's like saying that George Clooney is gay for banging a lot of chicks.
Clooney is gay...Pitt and Damon said so!
