At the legally required distance from the box, they couldn’t see what’s put in anyway, so your claim they’re just securing it is a bold lie. Even if they could see, what could they DO? Nothing, by the time they saw something put in the box it’s too late, votes are in the box mixed with all the others. The only way they could be doing anything but pure intimidation is if they physically stopped each person and checked their ID against the vote envelope, which would be SO much worse.

Not to mention the entrapments in Florida where officials cleared ex convicts to vote, then had them arrested on multiple felonies when they did as an effort to scare ALL legally voting ex convicts (except white collar convicts) out of voting blue. Trump personally directed employees to move and hide the classified documents after getting a subpoena for them, and directed them to lie about it, but now that the FBI has security footage of them doing it, they have admitted hiding the stolen documents at Trump’s direction and insistence and admitted to lying about it.

They also have these employees cooperation. They have agreed to testify that Trump himself directed them to move/hide boxes he knew contained classified documents that had been subpoenaed AFTER he received the subpoena. Game over.

His lawyers knew this when they lied that all documents had been returned….unfortunately for them so did the FBI.

This is evidence of his knowledge of guilt….proof he knew he was committing crimes, and a crime itself. Obstruction carries up to a 20 year sentence per document he hid….and there are hundreds if not thousands of stolen pages he hid.

Can’t wait until some of these documents show up on Chinese and Russian government computer systems.

I think donation is an excellent option, especially for those worried about costs.

Assuming I’m still fiscally solvent when I die, my focus is more on how I will continue to impact the environment and trying to make that impact a positive one if possible. I would never ask my family to shell out a dime for my disposal though, and would happily be donated for the free disposal (although I would still request the most ecologically sound disposal they offer).

I have no kids to complain that I’m wasting their inheritance on a mushroom box. I can’t take it with me, might as well spend some to get rid of me in the best (least destructive) way I can.

Firstly, there are many different methods for human composting, including just burial in a biodegradable box without preservatives. At cemeteries, plots might be slightly more expensive because they’re more spread out, but beyond that it’s the same cost as any burial.
But yes, I would absolutely pay the minor difference in cost to not waste resources (both my nutrients and the gas burnt). I have no heirs.
I would much rather be a tree than a toxic plot of grass. I think anyone visiting me would be happier with that too….but it’s much more about the environment than people for me.

Again, because this one method is costlier doesn’t mean it has to be. This method is really partial cremation. I would consider something more like this….

People used to just go in a pine box and they composted quickly…none of these preservatives in the body and steel coffins designed to last centuries, that’s insanity to me and I want none of it.

Edit: this reminds me of the above ground cemeteries in New Orleans that (according to our tour guide) use the natural heat to naturally cremate bodies then they just push the last remains to the back of the tomb and reuse it.

Wouldn’t his refusal to personally certify all government documents have now been returned be grounds for another round of search warrants for every Trump property, owned or rented? We know his lawyers can’t be trusted, we know he mixed them in with personal files, and we know he’s taken multiple boxes of files with him when he travels.
Really, another round of warrants is needed (and likely coming) whether he certifies or not, it’s just a way to hold him more accountable when they find more.
