Black Man Vs. White Man Carrying AR-15 Legally
Thank god racism is over...right?
Fucking cowards in blue. Get a grip, asshats. 10 cops, 5+ cars, dogs, weapons drawn, aimed, and cocked...for what?!? Legal open carrying while black, which is just fine if you're white?
Every day I'm more surprised there isn't a racial uprising against police and reciprocation of this behavior, ending in numerous cops shot dead by 57 bullets in self defense because they had a pen and pad in their hand. If 'well trained' officers can make that mistake constantly, why not citizens? Maybe that's why they are so pant-pissingly terrified of a black man with a gun, they know it would be reasonable for it to be used against them in self defense?
If I were black, I would be dead or in jail today. No question.
Totally disappointed in cops every-single-time lately. This shit boils my blood.

Making Sand Coffee Looks Like Magic
OK, but boiling coffee burns it. What are they thinking?

Awesome Chemistry Demonstration ...Cos FIRE!
I dunno that I buy the liquid methane claim. Maybe in part, and on review whatever it is is clearly extremely cold, but that much of it seems like it would be incredibly dangerous to set alight. Could you dilute it with something non-reactive that has a similar boiling point? Argon?
Dammit, where are all the sift chemistry experts when we need them?

There's actually a neat trick to smoothing the surface if you are using ABS. But it requires boiling some Acetone.

Now there's no 'finishing' step where someone smooths out hundreds of tiny 'steps' from one level to the next.

OK, re-read it...it said (among other things, and sorry to keep cut and pasting)...
Carrera is upset because:
Sar-sleaz-ian is an new-age-feminist hack who finds porn disgusting, and feels pity for any women who performs sex acts for money.
She belittles porn actresses like Mercedes & Cytherea as lowly abused victims.
Then, at Mercedes' request, refuses to support Cytherea when she ACTUALLY becomes a victim.
Yet, she denies the agency of sex-workers to choose their profession, referring to them as "prostituted women".
This is why Sar-shittyhumanbeing-ian is a hypocrite, a fuax-intellectual, and [as Mercedes succinctly puts it] damaging gender relations.
Which to me all boiled down to me wondering if she's really that silly as to disenfranchise what I see as the most feminist of professions, or are some people just portraying one out of context quote that way, because I know there was a smear campaign against her that made some things up about her, and had other actual factual gripes, and they confused everything.
The reason I 'cherry picked' ONLY that part of the comment was that I already knew the rest of it from seeing evidence of it, her being a fraudster and con artist. I needed no convincing of that, and it had no bearing on the other point, which was new to me.
That's why I never disputed those other claims, so I don't feel I need to explain why they aren't implying all you said, and why evidence of them misses my focused question's point.
OK?
Here's my original comment.

Re-read it. Then explain why you'd cherry pick the legitimate claim that:
'[Sarkeesian] denies the agency of sex-workers to choose their profession, referring to them as "prostituted women".'
Better yet, explain to me how my statement that:
'Anita is literally profiting off the fuax-oppression of women in gaming media & culture'
or
'This is why [Sarkeesian] is a hypocrite, a fuax-intellectual, and damaging gender relations.'
or
'Anita Sarkeesian is a troll and a puppet.'
or
'She's only stirring up shit to further her career.'
Explain to me how all these statements aren't implying, suggesting, connoting, alluding, proposing, insinuating that Anita Sarkeesian is a fraudster & a con-artist.
Please explain those two things. No more, no less.
Should We Colonize Venus Instead of Mars?
Fun video.
But I believe in surfacism.
Venus may gets its due farther out in the future but mars comes first simply because we don't boil or get crushed.
It is the same reason the bottom depths of the ocean haven't been probed.
Baffled by Stupidity: Richard Dawkins
See now I can tell you really know nothing about it, since you do not need to be a chemist. You could grab yopo seeds and just smoke those (they were found in a 3,000 year old bowl in Costa Rica - people have known about it for a long time, then for some reason it became a secret - I think Christianity stepped in to get rid of the knowledge of it), it's found throughout nature - you could grab some acacia bark, boil it and drink. It is safe and it is not dangerous. It's been studied many times and is still being studied for how it affects the brain & as well for it's natural therapeutic effects. It is believed to be endogenous - that is it already exists within your being (it's in many plants and animals, recently found produced in an animal's pineal gland). Not a huge Tool fan but they often allude to this substance, the pineal gland, Alex Grey's artwork - pretty sure they know full well of what it is.
Anyway, I totally did derail the comments and I do apologize for that, but you guys were calling me "religious" and downvoting me so I took offense. I derailed mostly to post the link about Dawkins having a profound experience that humbles his approach, it was a joke - but really I think all of us that have experienced the wonders would love people like Dawkins to spend the 5-10 minutes to experience it and then hear what he has to say about it.

What @eric3579 said.
Not the first time you have hijacked a thread to espouse the wonders of DMT. Are you a chemist that makes the stuff or what? It is not a 'safe' drug in any way.
If it's not about being a 'religious experience', your interjection of it here is out of place and odd.
Why do mirrors flip horizontally (but not vertically)?
Sometimes I have a hard time understanding even how she wishes to explain it (yeah, I get it--relative alignment and whatnot).
I however don't view "whatever is in the mirror" as some kind of alternate universe or merely a switch of directions in my head (as she states, that most of us have a psychological impression to do so): I definitely see me, and not a "reverse".
I know, as others mentioned she is explaining it more than likely for younger audiences, but I wonder if there are better ways to do it. I find it far easier to understand it through the traditional physics explanation of photons bouncing off of objects, hitting the mirror and coming to my eyes (but, that isn't what she wants here; that is why I boiled it down into two words: relative alignment). It just makes sense, what could then end up happening--at least to me.

Weather map goes crazy live on the air
Steel is a form of iron. Steel melts at about 1300 degrees Celsius (2400 Fahrenheit). It's boiling point is about 3000 C (or 5400 F).
Melting point of steel is around the temps he's talking about. Boiling point is a little higher.
Fox News anchors try Vegemite for the first time live on-air
It is a yeast extract that is not dissimilar in taste to demiglaze stock off the bottom of a pan (ie. stock boiled down to the consistency of, well, vegemite...)
Aka, incredibly concentrated.
With melted butter on toast, you apply would be lovingly described as a smear. You mix it with the melted butter to form a savoury topping rather than a "good old US PB&J thickness coating".
As an aside, a single teaspoon of vegemite makes a reasonably strong broth in a mug that is great for sore throats.
But please America, keep on spreading it on like cake frosting, we love the videos... =D
