Hi, spent the weekend skiing. Lots of comments, and don't know where to begin.

@GenjiKilpatrick Banks are private; mortgage brokers are private; many good local hospitals are private; insurance companies are private; neighborhood associations are private. Should they be allowed to discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion?

It's not just a case of not being allowed to eat at Nazi Joe's Diner. And before you answer, there have been recent cases of some of the entities above discriminating, despite a free market existing and racism somehow being bad for business.

And this being black history month, it would be good for you to read up and realize that in the past, many non-white americans were rich and prosperous, despite what you said above.

Voting for this poll ended with the majority of users voting Black --- history, culture, politics of Africa and her Diaspora.

Fine I didn't mean that...lets just stop teaching Black History then...Fuck Black History, my children don't need to know how evil white people used ta wuz!

I tend to be against things like International Women's Day, for the same reason I don't like Valentines Day and don't agree with Black History Month. I think we shouldn't need a special day/week/month to respect and show our love for others. That said, it never hurts to remind people that, even in the "Western world", 50% of the people still face issues of equality.

A couple were pointed out in the video:

-It stigmitizes AA women
-It targets AAs during black history month

I can add a couple more, though:

-I can bet from the POV of a black new yorker, who has to contend with trigger happy hoods and trigger happy cops, the billboard makes light of the dangers an AA faces
-The conservative groups that would be behind such a billboard traditionally only seem to care about AAs when they are in the womb.

Oh I hate these frat kids...but I've been known to attend the occasional "Gangsta Party". Doesn't make me racist. The fact that I hate white people...that makes me racist.
