HeyZeus909 eats his eggs post-workout... shell and all...

Baqueta says...

Assuming you're not either a pre-teen or an OAP, salmonella's pretty much just a regular dose of food poisoning. Your body would likely shrug off a couple of infected eggs without you noticing. It seems you're at a far greater risk of falling in love with yourself, and talking about yourself in the 3rd person!

Fallout 3 - Teaser Trailer

Kraz says...

Fallout 3 is using a modified version of the Oblivion Engine, so it's 1st and 3rd person only.
Bethesda has earned my respect as a developer... I have no reservations about them making this game. Oblivion was and remains a great game - particularly due to the endless modability of the game (which Bethesda has done it's best to embrace). I expect the same from FO3.

Nintendo Zapper video from E3 2007

Abel_Prisc says...

I'm a Wii owner, and was excited for both the Zapper and RE:UC.

However, I've read from more than one source that the Zapper is extremely uncomfortable to hold, and feels unnatural. A good example of this would be how they're holding it in the video. The natural/more common way to hold your wii-mote and nunchuk would be with the nun-chuk in the left hand and the wii-mote in the right. However, the natural/more common way of holding the gun is with your left hand on the trigger (wii-mote), and the right hand using the joy-stick/nun-chuck. So when you're used to moving about with your left, you're now having to do that with your right, while your left is shooting. Very unnatural.

Also, I may be in the minority with this, but I was very disapointed to find out that the new Resident Evil is going to be a on-rail shooter. I feel it'd be wayyy cooler to make a coop wii game that's from the 3rd person and free-roaming like RE4. That'd be a lot more successful in my opinion.

Bill Maher on Feminism

PC is a form of alteration of semantics for agenda-(see Eric Blair)

Most of the folks that are hip and centered, in the U.S., use, with their black, Asian, or Hispanic American friends, colloquial terminology, if referencing their origins for contextual emphasis, endearingly....don't know if you noticed folks, but most of the racism of 40 years ago and beyond in America, has been snuffed with regards to any form of separation of races....it is a new game today, working towards
a new form of ism, based on demographics and citizenship.....and, hello meatbots, race-baiting, class struggle, all the mob-oriented tools are still used by the herders-

Dupes are those who play into it- If one has a lot of baggage, and bitterness, then they will probably be the ones the most upset, when they overhear someone say, "the black dude cross the way", or, "He's that cool Asian cat I met" -personally am honored when cultural heritage is recognized, referenced, or associated in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd person...banter-away(here), of a cracker-ass euro-mutt dago....

....whenever you see the uncomfortable look, in the eyes of someone, if you fail to say "African-American", referring to a brother?, you'd be doing him a favor, to shove that shit, straight back up his ass.....

I was half-expecting the Scientology guy Tommy to start referring to himself in the 3rd person..."Tom is not happy. You want Tom angry? You got Tom angry buddy boy. Real angry, right now Tom is." TOM.REAL ANGRY.RIGHT NOW. COMING TO YOU IN SUMMER 2007.

Fallout 3 - 2003 Tech Demo

Sylvester_Ink says...

Wow, I never realized there was so much controversy surrounding it.

I do think that it would be best to stick to the old 3rd-person perspective myself. We have several nice first-person RPGs already, and I think that Fallout is better suited in its original form. However, I have no objection to making combat realtime, as long as it's done right. The ideas in this video show some promise. Still, I wouldn't mind if the final game were turn-based. There are just as many advantages to a turn-based game as there are for a realtime game.

As for Bethesda, I have my reservations about it producing the game, but they do show a lot of dedication, as is apparent in the Elder Scrolls games, so I'm remaining optimistic.

However, one thing I would NOT care for would be a Fallout MMO. I'm against that in every way.

Max Payne Prologue

budzos says...

Sorry Dag, but this is a 3rd person shooter.

I agree it is classic. Really made me glad I bought a Radeon when they were brand new. November 2000, I paid CAN$670+tax for a video card! Didn't get my money's worth until I played through this and got into Tribes 2.

Oh, and the leather pants chick from this series gets my vote for hottest pixelated character of all time.

Project Reality 0.5 Promovideo

westy says...

Yah it is strange it is realy hard to pindown the exact resoins as to why some studioes are sucsessfull i think alot of it is outside of the controle of a developer there have been plenty of games that are realy good and just get ignored this can happen afeter the game is relased and it dies. ore the publisher can just not understand the merrits of a game and just force the developer to get the game out pritty mutch killing the game. some games can survive this the advantage of the sim market is that if u develop something that simulates an aspect of something well then however buggy the game a large number of people will still get the game. and you allso end up with strong development comunities with there obvouse benofit. One of the main problems with The design of games is There are no clear rules as to what actualy works ore is comercealy sucsessfull especeaily with more complex games beaing made now. alot of the studoes aproach games design by making some engin and then just working out what the best game thay can make with that system is. so as an invester you have no idea what thay are doing ore planning. i think flashpiont started out as a actoin fps might have evan been a linear actoin fps. halo was a stratagy game then a pc 3rd person shooter before thay had had anny idea it was going to be a console fps
