Couples Watch Hardcore Porn Together

newtboy says...

You're all doing it wrong. Get naked, lube up, then try again.

I found it funny that all the people are acting like it's the first time they've seen porn. If they all aren't liars, they're all freaks. Normal adults know what hard core porn is, and are not surprised by 99.9% of it. I think it should probably be called 'prude/sheltered couples pretending to watch porn together for the first time'. I wouldn't believe this even if all the couples were 16 year olds these days.

Romancing the Drone or "Aerial Citizen Reduction Program"

Yogi says...

Abdulrahman Anwar al-Awlaki, who is Anwar al-Awlakis 16 year old son was targeted and killed. Born in Denver he was looking for his father and had sat down to dinner. He died along with his 17 year old cousin. It's called murder of the innocent.

Also they don't end any threat at all, they create more and more terrorists daily. Just ask anyone who's town has been hit by a Drone attack.

I don't see what the deal is quite honestly. We don't wait for due process if a citizen takes a bunch of hostages or goes on a killing spree. If we see the opportunity to end the threat, we end the threat

If it is reasonable to attempt a capture this american actively working with Al Queda, then cool, but I'm guessing that it isn't a realistic plan so I just don't see what the issue is here.

Affluenza - caused by affluence, symptoms include murder

messenger says...

On its face, it seems a good choice to give a 16-year-old rehab rather than imprisonment, which will almost certainly end all chances of him growing into a responsible contributing adult.

If rich white people get this treatment and poor black people get imprisoned for the same thing, then that's an issue, separate from this case or this defence.

Further, it's not clear that the judge based his/her decision on the affluenza defence or simply decided it was better for the kid to get help rather than prison.

Cornel West: Obama has no moral authority

Yogi says...

I think the big guns is droning Abdulrahman Anwar Al-Awlaki, the 16 year old son of Anwar Al-Awlaki. Born in Denver in 1995, an American citizen was killed by a drone while he searched for his recently droned father in the desert in Yemen where we are not at war. The teenager could only be identified by a piece of his skull which had his hair on it.

Robert Gibbs, Obamas former Press Secretary justified it by saying the boy "should [have] had a more responsible father."

Fuck Obama.

Bill Moyers: Big Brother’s Prying Eyes | Lawrence Lessig

Larry mentioned Palantir as a company that could provide technology to protect our privacy. Yet Palantir was involved in the campaign to take down WikiLeaks, so he might as well have named Gamma Group, the creators of FinFisher, your friendly Dictator's trojan of choice.

Scum, the lot of 'em.

Here's my suggestion on how to prevent abuse of (big) data: don't collect the fucking data; don't merge databases; don't store anything longer than absolutely neccessary. But demanding that sort of restraint strikes me as just as pointless as telling a 16 year old to stop wanking...

Stephen Fry Confesses 2012 Suicide Attempt

cluhlenbrauck says...

oh noez.
this guy is smart. Goes on record saying self pity is the worst thing in the world. Then he tries to kill himself. Like enough is enough.
This guy seriously sounds like a 16 year old that forgot to hand in his project on time cause the sparkly glue was still drying.

@brycewi19 how would you classify bi-polar?
what definitive test is given to diagnose this condition.
and when diagnosed..what is the best medication to help control/counter-act its debilitating effects?

@chingalera
i quite like your idea of bi-polar.
next step in evolution to adapt to the inherent slavery in our current slanted system.
has a certain poetry to it.

Democracy Now! - "A Massive Surveillance State" Exposed

Yogi says...

I don't understand how you think that this is bogus at all. This is the latest abuse from the Patriot act which still exists. The president has reserved the right not only to spy on us but to prosecute those who give small windows in to the inner workings of what is supposed to be OUR government. Diane Feinstein basically threatens Greenwald, who will basically lose everything if he can't keep his sources. His sources will dry up as soon as he is targeted again illegally by the government. It's a serious threat, it's Orwellian as was already pointed out.

Furthermore watch a bit more of that episode and it goes on to talk about the Drone killings of two American citizens. One a radical cleric who was never accused of a crime, murdered by his country. The other his 16 year old son who wasn't even CLOSE to what they say he was. He was just a kid who wanted to go to college in the US after having been born here, and he was murdered.

So I don't see what you don't see about how the Obama administration is fucking awful, and is starting to look even worse than Bush.

Sorry Mr. Fisk, I can't upvote this. This scandal is starting to feel just as bogus as the rest of them.

CNN Sympathizes with High School Rapists

zor says...

This discussion comparing punishments for murder and sex offense is interesting to hear. Yes, if they killed someone (or a few people) by driving drunk or whatever at 16yo they wouldn't have to register as convicted murderers for the rest of their life. And they would be out of jail by 21. Besides, I thought juvenile court and that system was supposed to protect ALL concerned in an incident. The juvenile system was supposed to be set up ESPECIALLY for 16 year old boys who do terrible things. Everybody loses the way this is now.

CNN Sympathizes with High School Rapists

kevingrr says...

It is easy to call two 16 year old KIDS you don't know disgusting and depraved.

What they did is terribly wrong and they should be punished. The question is does the punishment fit the crime?

Personally I think we as a society would be better off if after their juvenile detention they were given an option at some sort of public service i.e. military or civil service that if performed adequately for a number of years would expunge their records and names from the registered sex offenders list. Give them some hope, make them learn a lesson, make them give back to the world/country.

When I was 16 I spent most nights playing Everquest and I never drank even when at a party... so these kinds of things didn't come up.

Seth MacFarlane's Worst Oscar Jokes

aimpoint says...

CNN.com posts anything on their site to get attention. They've become on par with the annoying facebook friend that posts anything and everything to get attention. Recently their front page article was focused on yahoo's new work policy and why its supposedly good/bad. Pulling up some of their "featured" stories include the following:

16 year old model wearing "blackface"
Dog trained to do house chores
A video about a reporter saying "it sucks here"
3 videos about the latest YT fad "harlem shake" with its own subsection
"Why we love Jennifer Lawrence"
New twist for teen who flipped off judge
Teen beauty queen resigns over porn flap

Some of this stuff is great if your bored or on the sift, but newsworthy it is not.

And for a more direct answer to what you were saying, yeah thats all entertainment news right there, "OMG, Seth Mc.... said so and so, how does the other party react? YOU DONT KNOW!?!?! Well shit, make something up that sounds profound and post it". Its like a social gathering, except the viewers don't actually socialize with the involved parties.

I find it very amusing how much people are getting worked up over this. CNN had a front page article about it this morning

Really? A writer delivering some edgy jokes is what qualifies as news now? In the words of Mr. Shatner. Get a life!

Patriot Act Being Used Against a 16-Year-Old Boy

Yogi says...

>> ^chingalera:

The guy was a troll that threatened the safety and mental processes of others and put them in harm's way in doing so. Though detained per the fucked-up patriot act, the troll got his and from the looks of his face, his demeanor in his photographs, the punk got his but good. SLAP!!
Funny though, that some of the most virulently opposed to the Patriot Act would label VS user choggie "troll" (because of his always dissenting opinions and rhetoric and his terse manner when dealing with assholes) and pretty much do the same-same to his account. Fucking hypocrites!
http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2011/01/tyrone/

You still cannot jail ANYONE in a civilized country without due process, without the right to face his accusers. This is bullshit and you know it!
