This is crap. It's just stupid.

Budzos, with all due respect, you can go fuck yourself. I * saved your version of this sketch from your discarded videos back before there was a pqueue. Did you even watch this video before downvoting it? Don't lie, either. I see this comment here:

Fuuuuck. My mistake then. In my memory I had posted the Tae Kwan Leap version. Apologies, but again I didn't downvote because I thought it was a dupe. It's because I hate HATE HATE mash-ups. I think they cheat both pieces of source material in almost all cases. Check my downvote record and see how often I downvote mashups. In your case I downvoted without watching or seeing because mashing up audio of the Frantics with anything other than video of the Frantics offends me to the very core.

Did you notice that the audio in this sift is from the radio sketch? Are you aware that the radio version is funnier than the one from 4 on the floor? The comedic timing is tighter, the voice characterization is more comedic, it is just better.

"I hate hate hate mash-ups" well don't fucking watch them, then. This one happens to be very well done- the choice of characters to represent the voices is spot-on, the different sprites that the characters have for different things that happen in the sketch goes perfectly. It's well constructed, timed perfectly, it is great. Not "crap". Not "stupid".

Remind me to never * save any of your videos again.

No offense taken, man.

Since you brought the issue up, I was looking for a different feed. (Since I actually agree with your opinion of mash-ups, if not as vehemently.) Turns out there is an audio-only version. I'm updating the embed code now...

No, seriously dude. It's a totally different skit. Check it out:

You posted "Last Will and Temperment" off The Frantics first album "Frantic Times".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last_Will_and_Temperament

I posted "Tae Kwon Leap" off of their second album "Boot to the Head."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ti_Kwan_Leep

If you want to downvote because the only YouTube version I found when I looked was one with Naruto clips spliced in, I can't stop you. But is it really so hard to just look away and enjoy the audio? It's an awesome skit.

If you didn't like it, that's cool. Your opinion is your own. But it's still not a duplicate, since it is a totally different skit.

In reply to this comment by budzos:
I know it's not the exact same thing, but it's the same bloody skit. It's obnoxious to post it again. The downvote is because I object to most mash-ups, and definitely this one in particular. Plus, DJSunkid already posted the original audio with a totally inappropriate anime viedo part. So it's a dupe of his post if not mine.

My clip has audio and video of the actual Frantics in it, but you two goofballs think it's better to show it with anime video because you like the audio better. Nitwits.

Dupe of my boot to the head post. Plus how frigging retarded to post it with anime clips playing.

Not a duplicate. Your post is a completely different skit by the same comedy troupe.

It might help if you tried watching or listening to any part of the video before downvoting.

I get the similarity, I just think the presentation sucks. Trust me: I remember when the first 3d accelerators hit the market, I know the difference between GPU and CPU rendering. The reason I say it seems like propaganda is because first of all, you are the first person to use the term rendering. The video title or captions in the video doesn't say GPU Vs. CPU video rendering, it just says, "GPU vs. CPU". Second, realize this is from NVision: nVidia's annual conference. Third, because of the way it is presented it makes it seem like they are trying to say that graphics processors are just plain faster than central processors.

I appreciate criticism for my comments, but not when I get it in the form of an unfounded statement that really says nothing objective at all. Saying, "you must be joking" is really not an argument at all.

In reply to this comment by budzos:
Sure. It's dumb because of two things. First, a demonstration that GPU rendering is faster than CPU rendering is not "propaganda". It's a fact that GPU rendering is much faster. Do you also say that videos are "banned" when they are pulled from the air by the company who created them?

Second, the poster is making a joke. The presentation is not related to computers at all. If you know what "GPU rendering" means, which you must if you think this is "propaganda", I don't see how you can miss that painting with one gun is like rendering with the CPU, and painting with a 1000 nozzles at once is like rendering with the GPU. See now I feel dumb just for explaining it.

In reply to this comment by Aemaeth:
I'd love to hear the explanation for this comment.

In reply to this comment by budzos:
Cool project, but seems like propaganda to me. Why is that a GPU vs. a CPU?

Please be serious. It'd be awesome if you were that dumb.

Wish I could upvote ten times for enforcing precision of speech. Can't stand when people don't think about the precise meaning of their words. So I pretty much can't stand most people, most of the time.

I can't tell if your talking about Galloway or the other guy? At first you seem to be praising Galloway for enforcing clear speech, but Galloway is the one dropping the context of the speech since Ahminedjad must pause immediately after the line to wait for the cheers of "Death to Israel".

I'm talking about Galloway. We're talking about precision of speech, not taking all things into context.

But then Galloway is the one being imprecise because whatever specific grammar Ahminedjad may have used, the entire crowd he was speaking to clearly understood him to be referring to Israel. More over, he smiles approvingly at the calls for "Death to Israel" that follow. In that light, I think the context is much more important than the precise choice of words.

My biggest pet peeve in this regard is someone who makes a clear error in grammar, context, or quoting, who then says when corrected "Well this is how I use it and grammar evolves according to usage." Literal-mindedness combined with ignorance: the marketing victim mentality.

The cannadian cops I was referencing were in this. Although you never really see the suspect die, he does die of heart failure. He only speaks polish, and the Canadians tase him for not being able to comply with their commands.

In reply to this comment by budzos:
The concept of a Canadian cop overreacting extremely harshly to words is not lost on me. I know why police are necessary but I can't fucking stand to be around them. For the most part they really are power-tripping assholes.
