The deads get discarded if not undeaded within 7 days, so I was apprehensive about a whole bunch of VJs getting deaded, then forgotten, and expiring even after VJ fixed the problem. But no worries -- I got James to sticky my SiftTalk post so people are now more aware of the problem. You did us a favour!

thanks for clearing that up. truth be told I didn't think the dead thing worked on a silver star account! was just trying to flag it to lurgee.

I just commented on the How to Choose a Bicycle video you flagged as dead and marked it as undead. We've hit a universal problem with VideoJug videos not showing up at all with their old embed source code. I hope to hear from the admins soon, and with any luck, the videos will come back.

I'd recommend the trip and the trip 2 by Tom Middleton. He's another one of these guys that likes to jam the widest selection of music possible into his sets. very educational and fun.

it's all about good music before good technique - something very few djs these days understand.

Any more of those mixs

In reply to your comment:
that Pine Hill Haints is really cool mlx.

it's impossible to get any sort of concise list of favourites or essentials but thinking about it in terms of ways I'd want to educate my children about music there are a few mix sets that would go a long way (in this order):

- fred deakin - the triptych
- 2manydjs part 2
- the nextmen - blunted in the backroom

oh yes, and my very own axisofcool of course

I've actually recently started jotting down some of the things I'm listening to as I buy so much new stuff all the time that I lose track.

Hey aidos, are you in Oz?

We're praising the French nuclear policies now? If they're so convinced of the safety of their nuclear activities they should run the tests in their own backyards, not on the other side of the world in mine.
