Windows 7 beta x64

I recently purchased 8 Gb ram, because it's just criminally cheap right now (yay, economic collapse pays off), and I had XP 32bit installed, so I've been forced to move to a 64 bit OS.

I've shunned Vista since I tried it last year, so what other reasonable options did I have? Luckily the new Windows 7 beta has just been released, so I tried that one, and so far I'm really, really pleased. It does a lot of small things better than XP and is still very responsive and quick.

Aero is much like it is in vista, but I think it seems more refined. I've yet to do more extensive research on it (ie. run World of Warcraft.. installing now), but so far, yeah, awesome.

Has anyone else tried it yet? What are your reactions?

Been using it for about a month now. I do like the new taskbar, even though you have to get used to it at first. Runs good, even better than XP in some areas. It runs alot better than Vista, especially on low-end PC's. Games are sometimes faster or as fast as on XP, sometimes slower and some don't work at all. Can't say anything about WoW since I wouldn't touch that shit to save my life.

All in all it's everything Vista was supposed to be but wasn't...

I'm considering trying it out, but I think I'll upgrade to 4 gb of ram from my current 2 first. If it comes out while I'm still at school, I'll get a free upgrade to it, so I might actually just wait for that. From what I've seen though, it looks mad sexy.
