Animal Planet animation budget must have been non existent. The myth however did spawn a fun video game.

Well, since it was a Disney film crew that came up with the myth, and continued to perpetrate the fraud for decades, they likely couldn't just go to them to make the animation, so they had to take what they could get elsewhere.

I noticed they avoided saying it was Disneys fault.
