Superman turns back the world

(1978) Scene where Superman is too late to rescue Lois Lane from the earthquake, so he reverses time to save her life. (cheater!)

I never really viewed it as him turning back the world so much as him flying back through time. (And we would see it from his perspective, as the Earth spins backwards and everything reverses.) The only reason he turns around and spins the other way is to reduce his temporal momentum.

But that's just how I rationalize it. Makes more sense than reversing the spin of the Earth.

yah as far as i know you cn only go back in time if you traval faster than the speed of light. makes more sence to say super man went back in time.

I think it makes more sence to look at time traval as realy interdimentoinal traval. anny piont in time baing a difrent dimntoin.

I watched this on DVD a couple months ago. Great film, still holds up.
