The North American Union and Democracy (or Lack Thereof)

anyway, i think connecting countries with roads is a good idea.

i live in the NWO heartlands of the Schengen Zone of the EU. I can travel across the whole continent without a passport, and I only need to change my money once.
On the bus recently I looked out of the window as I crossed the border into Latvia, and I saw disused huts, peeling paint, abandoned checkpoints. The bus didn't even slow down.

Explain to me how this is a bad thing for my freedom.

really good idea me thinks. I also think that progressive and economically minded countries usually spend a considerable amount of investment into infrastructure regularly to build roads, bridges, buildings and public spaces such as parks squares and etc.

That's what they did in Europe after WW2, that's what they did when they were rebuilding the business sectors in NYC, that's what they did in ancient Rome, that's what they did in South Korea after the Korean war.

And yet, I don't hear any major construction in United States to improve the infrastructure, besides new stadiums by private companies.

North America isn't Europe.

They better put gun turrets on that 10 lane highway to combat the irate american truckers who're already being displaced by cheap mexican scab labor. And as far as i can tell from iraq, there's no defense against roadside ied's. Not suggesting anything. Really.

If you want to turn the heartland into Road Warrior then yeah, it's a great idea.
