Stephen Colbert: Stop the Falsiness

Wumpussays...

I'll admit, I'm not sure what to make of this. Colbert is a comedian first and foremost in my book and his show is promoted as such so I take him for what he's worth. I don't know if he had any part in the creation of this video so I'm really not sure what its aim is.

The fact that is only has Democrats and liberals speaking makes me wonder if it's a satire on howrnthe level of debate has sunk so far in the last 10 years, it would have been a lot more effective if it had people from both sides of the aisle. But since there is only people from one side of the prism trying to make it sound like a serious video, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to take them seriously of not.

Personally the whole thing seems kind of childish, but I'll leave it up to you.

That's some of the sharpest humour I've seen in a long time. Even as I was rolling on the floor laughing -- figuratively -- one of the myriad voices in my head was saying "dude, they're being serious, aren't they???"
