Squirrel Spinners

I predict this video will go great places.

Reminds me of a science conference I was at once, where I ended up sitting in on a presentation of this research project on the inter-species dominance for birds over food resources, something completely unrelated to my interests in general. In order to get data, he had to videotape the birds perching on poles with different foods on top of each and then videotape them so he could figure out what species landed where. Problem was, the squirrels kept eating the things, so he greased the poles to keep the squirrels off. We had the happy opportunity to watch videos of squirrels running up, then sliding down poles for a good couple of minutes. The presenter got a standing ovation.
