Well, that's what happens when you have weak internet skills.

Adblock, RSS feeds, realizing that Facebook is not a news site and self-control really go a long way towards avoiding this downward spiral.

Réminds me of the time I had no internet for 6 months. Sure, I watched BibleTV and Scooby Doo in french (which I don't speak) but I had a most interesting time.
And Smombies.

I definitely know this feeling. I feel like like it hurts older non-techies the most. I've been using Ghostery for a while and like it better than Ad Block.

I am trying uBlock Original. It is very different and difficult to use, but it seems faster and better. I still need to learn how to use its filter stuff which is confusing! I bet we have a lot of users on VS too.
