Shot at Point Blank with a .308 and .44 Magnum

An all-time favorite video of mine that I was surprised to not find on the Sift.

The man in the Second Chance t-shirt is Richard Davis, the creator of the bullet-proof vest. He has shot himself point blank in the chest something like 200+ times. I'm from the small Michigan town (Central Lake) where he based his company, Second Chance Body Armor, which was sold several years ago. When we were in grade school during Halloween he would lead our costume parade through the town wearing a full Darth Vader outfit and riding on a horse. He used to drive a camouflage Mercedes. Eccentric, but cool guy.

this clip is part of this hilariously awesome "body guard defense" type video that i've only seen available on VHS for like 60 bucks, haha. they shoot the shit out of a car with a .50 cal and use an uzi fitted to be fired out of a briefcase among other awesome things.

Second Chance moved to Michigan after closing in Florida. They has some problems with earlier plates and suffered litigation and bankruptcy. Seem to be doing well now.

.308 NATO is a misnomer. Properly ii is a 7.62x51mm or 7.62 NATO.

Nice L1A1.

I always enjoy these demos.
