Re-Teaching Gender and Sexuality

Our society's take on sexuality/gender identity issues needs to evolve to the next level.

These kids are participants in a short documentary that is part of a larger educational effort:

I don't know. I'm not sure I like this.

I love reclaiming the word "queer" without getting into hissy fits about how one is different, if you have to have a label.

I would love to get to the place where we don't have to talk about it. It just is.

I think that's partly the point, only it takes a while, and many intermediate steps.

Why are they putting onus of teaching kids about gender on schools? Gender is taught by the parents before kids are even school aged. Any thing ignorant comes from the parents...way to miss the target.
