Via Good As You/The Huffington Post: "Sean Harris, senior pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville, spoke at length in support of North Carolina's proposed Amendment 1, which would define marriage in the state constitution as between one man and one woman and would outlaw civil unions and domestic partnerships, during an hour-long sermon on Sunday. In this clip, provided by Jeremy Hooper of the blog Good as You, a man identified as Harris is heard urging his congregation to attack their children if they appear to be exhibiting behavior outside of gender norms...".* Ana Kasparian and Cenk Uygur break it down on The Young Turks.

Lunatics like pastor Harris make my blood boil because of the influence they have over those more gullible than most. =o/

FWIW, he has recanted the whole thing, said it was in jest (you can hear his congregation laughing), and that afterwards he said his congregation came up to him and told him they didn't believe he meant those things literally. Taken at face value, it's a good sign that they didn't follow his words like sheep and actually challenged him on it.

These TYT people? Muckrakers. Their segments reek of the stench of video-tabloidism. The hosts' air of shock and disgust at the subject matter they choose to editorialize, tiresome and unprofessional. TYT fool themselves if they consider themselves journalists-IMO they would equal in value to the crew of a news camera van assigned to bring you people the news you need, like car fires and people falling off ladders. Wish they would find something else to do besides litter this site with their snarky banter and all the news that's fit to shit. Down-vote if I could here, and remove their computer privileges there.
