pmkierstsays...Well, I could press the rewind button all on my lonesome, but still, awesome. I am surprised the guy didn't pass out.
jmdsays...holy crap! Pass out? I'm surprised hes not dead!
Fletchsays...I would love to see an in-car camera view.
Bigboomersays...Pffff thats nothing. A spoiler, couple of stickers, loud annoying exhaust and maybe a F1 Spoiler and I Bet my Honda could do that!
karaidlsays...Why were they speaking in code?
bigbikemansays...Okay, that's impressive. Had things gone badly, that guy would have been very dead, very fast.
Nebosukesays...They pretty much have a rocket engine in that thing... similar to the space shuttle I suppose.
cybrbeastsays...The commentary is in Dutch, and it's not a quarter mile. The commentator says it's 200m = 0.12mi
wingnutsays...No, it's not the quarter mile. I looked it up and saw a different video.
jimnmssays...Why is there a guy laying down beside the car? And what kind of rocket is that, I don't see a flame coming out the back?
Alaksays...I think its just straight oxygen. When we were in school, we had to build C02 cars, which were essentially the same concept and was propelled by the c02 focused out a rocket like orface. From the looks of it, this car is propelled by compressed oxygen through a focused point.
Or so thats my theory.
cybrbeastsays...0-386 mph in 3.58 seconds..
The car is powered by H2O2, hydrogen peroxide.
I checked out some sites and they do say he did the quarter mile in 3.54, maybe the announcer got it wrong.
xxovercastxxsays...@bigbikeman:
If you're going to get very dead, then very fast is the way to do it.
9453says...The guy lying on the pavement next to the car where it took off - is he a videographer? It looks like a dangerous job.
