Ok, this might sound like I'm being really picky, and I'll freely admit before I go any further that this is just way, way beyond anything I could ever make. But when we see it running at the end there seems to be a lot of play in the blue gear that's marked with the months, which just doesn't look right. Is it supposed to do this?

I think the blue gear is supposed to be fixed (relative to the base), but the movement is probably just the sum of all the tiny imperfections adding up among all the other gears. I didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.
