Octopuses Love Mr. Potatohead

This video also has footage taken from inside a jar as the octopus opens it. So many suckers! :)
For reasons that I haven't yet determined, it seems to be fashionable to give Mr. Potatohead toys to octopodes. Last week a story came out about louis the octopus in england who loves his mr. potato head toy so much he becomes agressive if anybody tries to take it from him, but there are several other examples, such as this octopus in the Baltimore Aquarium.
(PS: the plural of octopus is octopuses or octopodes- never octopi)

Heart heart heart! I think having suckers all over your tentacles is like having a LOT of fingertips. That's why they're so good at opening jars and doing puzzles and stuff.

it's podes (pron.: po-deez) because the word "octopus" comes from the Greek words okto which means "eight" and pous which means "foot". The plural of pous is podes. Thanks for making me look this up, I was always curious about if it were octopi or what.
