What the crap was the show? Can someone elaborate as to whether she is a host, or another contestant, or what, as I'm confused as to the situation to begin with.

As for who was right or wrong, well, she should not have slapped him at all. She should have restrained herself, and seemed to slap him pretty hard. Unless, of course, that is an expected 'thing' for this show, is it some sort of weird sado masochist thing?

Him though, well, coming from the point of view of the 'stronger' sex, and not being in a situation that was really threatening past the slap, should have certainly not retaliated in that way at all. However I get the impression he was shocked at his own reaction, and did so out of pure shock.

But yeah, no-one was in the right here.

Ahh, yeah, so the explanation comes from the show. It's called Dadagiri and is billed as 'TVs meanest gameshow'

So, you should be able to expect that treatment from the host, so yeah, he CERTAINLY should not have hit back, it should have been expected when you sign on for a show of that sort.

I see a smaller person slapping a bigger person getting slapped by a bigger person.

I entirely agree Spoco, obviously another bullshit 'reality' show that's evolved and morphed in to it's present 'edgy' form. Your follow up vids certainly paint a better picture though, it's pretty easy to see how she'd razzed them up for a fair while before.

As for the whole slapping thing.. just because a woman is the fairer sex, doesn't mean that slapping isn't any different a response to a violent outburst from a man. Each is a primitive response to anger and the inability to communicate it in words.

Allow me to precede the point I'm trying to make by saying that I'm against domestic violence and seeing women physically abused. It's not right by any definition.

I don't care who you are, you haul back and hit me like that, my first reaction is to do the same. NOBODY gets a "Get out of jail free" card in that situation. She instigated the entire incident by getting angry and striking the first blow; and it wasn't just a light slap either. This wasn't a case of a man getting frustrated because he couldn't get the better of the relationship/conversation, and then hauls back and clocks his wife/gf/whatever. Both are at fault for fighting to begin with, but I sure don't feel a lot of compassion towards her at this point.
