tnaransays...But it's a private company and ANY thing a private company does in the market place is automatically good and noble. Ron Paul would agree. Other than his opposition to the Iraqi debaucle, I don't care for him. I have an anti-pathy to libertarians.
snaremopsays...Hmm...so Ron Paul is against free speech?
codenazisays...sigh... what do you expect from a web site owned by Rupert Murdoch? That he wouldn't use it to push his own agendas?
snaremopsays...codenazi has it right.
Constitutional_Patriotsays...Thats messed up.
Traconsays...Honestly i think it has more to do with the fact he is using the copy paste button plus a lot of text. It may have tripped some spam filter of some kind but it is a News Corp owned subsidiary so douche baggery is possible. If enough people report it, it will get thrown on a spam filter plus he didn't change the code just the same over and over again. Try again with different code and different links that would be a true test of there spam filter or censoring.
codenazisays...The spam-filter theory has some merit, and I have to admit to not knowing much about how myspace works (I avoid such obvious idiocy, usually...), but one thing stood out: the "phishing detected" warning.
It wasn't a spam warning, it wasn't some copy&paste annoyance warning, it was a "your account may be compromised" warning. That seems like a strange think to trip that consistently from a message post like that.
Also... I didn't get a good enough look at it, but I wonder if the copy&paste was just for the video, so he could retry it a bunch. Meh. I'm no good at detecting such c&p memes - any web design that looks like it's trying to recreate the "joy" of Geocities makes my eyes bleed... @,@
joedirtsays...What an idiot. He copy and paste the SAME thing three times and expects a different outcome??! Doesn't he realize this text is probably identical to other posts, and therefore flagged. Why didn't he make up a unique Bulletin? What an asshat. Now if EVERY post talking about Ron Paul was flagged, that would be one thing. This was his crazy long post with tons of embed and who knows what kind of javascript. What an idiot.
dw1117says...I agree with joedirt.
BicycleRepairMansays...Caught by a spam filter. fallacious argument, downvote
theo47says...I like Ron Paul, too (for a Republican), but that's just spam filters doing their job.
That he's got Alex Jones' sites bookmarked is further evidence of a paranoia complex.
K0MMIEsays...So wait he posts THE SAME THING and expects different results!? It's not that myspace is blocking what he is saying... ITS THAT THE TEXT HE IS USING APPEARS TO BE A PHISHED ACCOUNT. Ugh, idiots.
johnald128says...is perhaps because of duplicate posts. News Corp does do this kind of thing though. i just noticed that there's no criticism of note on News Corp on Wikipedia, very suspicious...
Constitutional_Patriotsays...So, theo... you equate being an Alex Jones fan to paranoid delusion? You sound like Rush Limbaugh.
