Voter purging has been a big issue during the Democratic Primary. Now new allegations have surfaced, of Bernie Sanders delegates being switched to Republicans, just before the Nevada convention. Cenk Uygur, host of The Young Turks, breaks it down. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.
“I’ve never talked about this on DU, but I guess now is a good time.
I'm a Bernie delegate from Iowa. I participated in our County Convention and I was gearing up to participate as a Bernie delegate in our District Convention, which was held two weeks ago. Three days before the District Convention, I get a phone call from a Bernie Sanders staff member.
They were wondering why I was registered as a Republican in the state of Iowa.
I was flabbergasted. Our Iowa Caucuses were Feb 1, and to participate you must be a REGISTERED DEMOCRAT. I participated, gave a speech for Bernie and served as a Precinct Captain. Furthermore, I've voted Democrat my entire life, starting in the early 1980's.
You can imagine my shock. Why was I, a Bernie delegate, now a REGISTERED REPUBLICAN?
I was told that there were other Bernie delegates who were also coming up as REGISTERED REPUBLICANS too. One of them was a life-long Democrat who was also a Democratic County Precinct Chair.”
Every day there's more evidence of election fraud....and every day it's in Clinton's favor. Please don't vote for someone with such a flagrant disregard for rules and law and such distain for democracy. (That means Clinton or Trump)

FFS Cenk, you said yourself that this is important, so fucking do some fucking journalism. Find coffeecat, contact them, get some documentation that proves or disproves their story.
They could be lying through their teeth, but if they're not the people should be told about it.
Finally, let's say for the sake of argument this turns out to be true, and Hillary's people are doing some dodgy things (which wouldn't surprise me at all). What actually happens then? Is there a recount? Another primary?
MordhausMight get reversed, probably won't. She knows this is her last chance to become President, so she is going to cheat as much as she needs to. Sadly, most of this is semi-'legal' due to arbitrary voting rules and the nature of our system.
As far as how it is going to end? She will run vs Trump, and if she wins it will be due to cheating the process. I will take a moment to point out the last president we had to lose the popular vote but win by exploiting the process was...George W Bush.
The other possibility is she loses and we have President Trump...
Basically we are fucked either way.
