LA County Fair Commercial

Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)

That caught me off-guard too personalzen - not sure if it is tongue-in-cheek LA-speak or not. I did a little looking up, and it appears that "funner" and "funnest" are morphing into acceptable English with wider use.

Actually, it’s funny as hell – but only if you live, or have lived, in LA. Dag, you summed it up: "tounge & cheek LA speak". Believe it or not, they really are like that. An inside joke for a local ad.

Dag... I live in Southern CA (but am NOT from there) and that commercial was ACTUALLY on television. There is a whole series of ads with that theme of these SoCalifornians being blond twits that are so removed from how or where things originated. *commercial
