PlayhousePalssays...HAHAHAHA! Derpy thumbnail
Sarzysays...That's pretty cool, though I don't know if I'd want to put anything more fragile than a mattress on that thing.
MonkeySpanksays...I've seen these in Holland, but they only went up one floor...
mxxconsays...So they make doors and hallways so tiny that they have to move stuff in through the window?
And what's up w/ those grates? Is that what they call balcony? You open a door and can fit 1/2 of your toes on it?
jmdsays...Can't believe this needs be explained but, the grates are so people don't fall out. Those are the ONLY windows in the apartment, so they are full sized patio windows w/ door just cause it looks better when letting light in.

mxxconsays...What's wrong w/ making only top part open?

jmdsays...More air flow..notice the ac units? There is no central air. -_-

mxxconsays...so? those are split-system ac units..if you want more air you can just as easily open both side of your window....
weird.

jmdsays...... no.. those are not. Those are window AC units, and were installed well after the building was first designed.
Also it is just much easier material wise to base the glass layout on one end of the room on a patio door and window set, rather then large sectioned window pieces where some of them slide open.

mxxconsays...Now please don't say bullshit you obviously know nothing about. many times through the video you can clearly see LG split system units like this one http://di1-3.shoppingshadow.com/images/pi/32/77/78/53748472-450x450-0-0_LG+LS122HE.jpg and another Samsung models.
