Jon Stewart brilliantly disects the State of the Union

Just as the title says.

I don't understand why we are still getting posts from comedy central. Didn't we decide we were not embedding from there? I guess I don't understand about how sites that do region filtering interacts with gold star powers. Has this been discussed on sift talk and I missed it?

Posting comedy central stuff must require some kind of privilege. There's one I've wanted to post for a few weeks now, and still a no go. That or I'm doing it all wrong! I have a hard time seeing any benefit to the region blocking, I can only imagine some pencil pushing tight asses at viacom broke too many vessels in their brain when someone suggested they put footage from old episodes up on the web for free.

The last part makes the video.

Grrr... the comedy central player is made of fail (just like my internet). Won't preload the video for me, so I can't pause and walk away for a bit, then come back to a watchable video.

Australia and AOK: Ahhh, great stuff.

And Bush demonstrating the Conservative motto "Let everyone fend for themselves"

F*ckers.

Bush didn't veto Kyoto -- nobody did. Clinton refused to sign it, and Bush inherited the unsigned document and also refused to sign it.
Geeze, nitpick, nitpick... the point is, Bush and Howard (the last Australian Prime Minister) were the only two big hold outs on the signing of the treaty... the ONLY TWO... and it gave any smaller countries a reason to not sign. Now Australia has (will?) sign it under our new PM and we're left with ONLY the US not signing it... It's the ridiculous mindset that anything to help the environment must come at zero cost. Who cares how much extra money they're willing to spend on the military, they'll be dammed if saving the planet should come at any governmental cost.

Retards.
