mauz15says...Even if he read it, will he understand it?
11714says...dont worry, his campaign lobbyists will tell him what to say about it.
kronosposeidonsays...You know, the Paulson plan is all of THREE FREAKING PAGES long. I thought he went back to Washington so he could stay on top of this shit, but he can't read a fucking 3-page bill?
Yeah, this guy is ready for the White House.
mkknyrsays...everyday this guy just seems more and more like a bad joke. i can't even remember the last time he said something and i nodded my head along, thinking "okay, i don't generally agree with you, but this time you actually sound sensible."
you know, even bush's address last nite on the economy described the crisis in a way that finally i could put the pieces together and understand fundamentally what's going on. that's right... i actually learned something listening to george bush. but this idiot McCain... it's really unbearable, the thought of four years of listning to this bumbling idiot.
both mccain and palin seem like they could actually do worse for this country than cheney-bush. it reminds me of this quote from H.L. Mencken:
"As democracy is perfected, the office [of the Presidency] represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
imstellar28says...John McCain already admitted in an interview that he doesn't read, so no surprise here.
