I love Jeff Bridges. For a real treat, watch him blow smoke rings in The Contender. And for the record, I don't believe him here.

The way he says "No, man..." is exactly like the dude, therefore he's the dude in real life, therefore he was stoned for definite. Probably went shopping in his dressing gown beforehand too.

Jeff Bridges classes up any movie he's in. I can't believe I used to get him mixed up with Kurt Russell.

I actually know the guy who the character of "the Dude" was based on... ;-)

Oh, and True Grit is a contender for the Oscar, for sure.
