I fully support messing up ALL instragram food photos! I'm coming for you now, wife!

So im not on Instagram, and i can't understand why people would ever take pictures of restaurant food they've ordered. I can only think crazy wacky thoughts about anyone that thinks thats a good idea. There must be something im missing.

@eric3579 - Personally, I agree with you. I don't get it.

BUT, my wife is a big "look what I just ordered" food photo poster, except on Facebook instead of Instagram. She does it with a circle of her friends, and I gather that they get a sense of community and camaraderie out of it.

So, I can kind of accept it in the way that I can accept other things that baffle me personally. For everything that I think other people are crazy for doing, I'm sure they think I'm nuts for wanting to stay at home and sit in front of a computer playing videogames, or listening to heavy metal, or whatever. So ... live and let live I guess.

...But I still like to mess with my wife when she's taking food photos sometimes, just like in the video.

My wife uses Instagram and other photo-centric social media to promote herself as a photographer and graphic artist; she also submits a lot of Yelp restaurant reviews and posts pictures of the food on the menu so that people can see the food before they order.
